Absolutely deserved! Your personality is always refreshing to my soul. It's giving positive & happy vibes! And the language learning with the traveling vlogs do go perfectly together. You've gone so far since your very first video. Love your channel a lot.
I'd love to find channels that are not teaching japanese, but are good to learn japanese. Like, channels that talk clearly and cover simple topics like pets and daily routines.
I have a feeling most channels that are not about learning japanese (while being in japanese), would be hard to grasp unless you're at least at an intermediate level (except channels made for comprehensible input), but a few recommendations with varying difficulty: If you like let's plays, it's a great way to get some japanese listening in: I like Kiyo, and Yonaga. Both are dudes, the first is quite high level and speak pretty fast, but is really fun to watch; the latter speaks slowly in comparison, has a good voice and is interesting to watch as well. Just checking VTubers and finding one with a vibe you like is a good idea as well. I watch Subaru, and Houshou Marine every once in a while. If you want to see people's face: Nakata University, amazing channel that covers everything from cryptocurrency, to breakdowns ;) of Jojo, to history of the world, really entertaining host, but he speaks somewhat fast, and videos are often long and part of a series. (3 part videos, each 40-50 min type thing) アオイの is a fashion influencer, make up and VLOG channel. I watched a few of her videos a while back cause I found her pretty, lel. Kimagure Cook is a cooking channel really entertaining. さいとうなおき is a art channel. 日本語の森 is a grammar channel, I didn't watch them much, but they are recommended a lot. Enjoyed their learn japanese with songs videos. Meshclass is also a grammar channel, watched more of their videos because it was more palatable for me (no cringe sketches) and it taught me the nuance between similar words or similar grammar points. Kuroobi world, karate channel with different masters of different arts practicing together. 1-percent-wiiber, a modern day ninja does stuff. Mostly martial arts related, interesting. In all honesty though, I am not big on Japanese youtube so the there's not that many channels I watch consistently. Mostly an anime guy. The GOAT if the channels above are too hard for you, is **Comprehensible Japanese**. It won't be the most compelling content ever, but it's interesting enough to allow you to get-by when you're not at the level where you can pick native-level content.

Ahh you’re one of my biggest inspirations when it comes to learning languages thanks for all the awesome videos :D 💖 the information you share is always so helpful

Although the school systems I went through made me forget how much I loved language learning, seeing you learning arabic reinvigorated my love for it and helped me continue making my own path learning multiple languages at my own pace. Maybe at some point in the future we could have a conversation in Arabic that would be fun :] don’t give up >:0
i gave up many time because i was approaching japanese like math or any other "school" topic while completely forgeting how i got so far in english... by consuming a lot of media like music, films, youtube videos, tv shows, speaking even to myself, reading and writting This comment for instance is still some kind of training for me and yet... i've never tried that approach with japanese for some reason even though i know it work since it worked for both French and english. What a great video! I've been re-studying Japanese (took it for 3 years in university 11 years ago!) b/c I plan on traveling to Japan this year, and actually I follow and use most of the channels you recommended! So good to know you find them useful as well, and I'm very grateful to have discovered some others through you such as Kimono Mom and Mukuena, and also it's my first time learning about the dictation technique. Thank you for making this really incredible video! Wishing you the greatest success! :)))
I highly recommend watching “Matt vs Japan” videos as well! Especially the long-form interviews he’s done with other big hitters in the space. No better resource, imo!
You're videos are so enjoyable to watch. You're personality is so bubbly and lovely. I literally just watch your videos sometimes just because it uplifts my mood akjhdkjh. I of course enjoy them for the educational content too!! I think the content and recommendations are very good and kind. Not like "YOU MUST STUDY X AMOUNT OR YOU WILLL FAIL", it makes me feel accepted and feel like learning the way that works for me is best hgfhghg (x^v^x)
Thanks for the info! I myself am learning Japanese as an English speaker ( US English ) and I have been finding it difficult... I can a introduce myself and say where I am from so far. Been learning mainly from JapanesePod101. I do love their videos. I'll try out the others as well. Looking to go to Japan for my first time in 2025/26. in the meantime, saving up money, and learning basic Japanese. Never been to an Asian country like Japan before, only country I have been to so far Outside the US is England.
Thanks for all your tips ! but I think it would've been better to classify learning levels with Japenese systems (JPLT5-JPLT1) and not the english one (A1-C2)
I only needed 1 channel (for learning, using Duolingo as a practice book) and I highly recommend it, the name's literally "Learn Japanese From Zero", I like knowing the words and why they're like that not just memorize phrases, he teaches all you need to know from beginner to advanced in such a smooth way, he explains everything without infodumping and even jokes sometimes making the videos fun to watch, I simply couldn't learn Japanese until I found his channel, he truly saved me from a lot of headaches.
Hello my dear! 🌸 How long did it take you to learn Japanese using these methods? I have N4 level and I'm moving to Japan in 3 years, I know the progress is different for everyone but I would like to know more or less if I should speed up with my learning. 🥺
My only problem with Japanese is that native speak so fast, I can’t even make out the words they say. I would say I have a big vocabulary and pretty much got the grammar down a long time ago. But I still can’t understand when they speak, I can only understand the practice video of jlpt because they speak much slower 😔
I learned recently from a friend that Japanese is one of the fastest languages spoken in the world. I didn’t even realize this despite being a native japanese speaker. It sounds more natural to say everything quickly lol. Anyways, my friends started getting used to the fast pace of speaking by consistently having Japanese conversations with me and other native speakers (at least 30 minutes per day). At first, they really struggled to keep up. However, after 6+ months, they improved quite a lot and were able to understand most of what I was saying. If you can’t find people who speak Japanese near your area, you could always watch Japanese channels like Hikakin (ヒカキン) and Fischer’s (フィッシャーズ). They have some very fun and enjoyable content, they use language that native speakers use and are pretty fast speakers (so I would recommend this for B2 and C1 level or somewhere near that), and I’m pretty sure Fischer’s has English subtitles for almost all of their videos. Good luck!! がんばってねー!

Yes! He made it so clear to me! Especially the breakdown of verbs

Love these suggestions!! Saw you made a UA-cam-suggestion video for French, are you planning one for Spanish learning? 😅

I watch you speaking at 2x speed. seemed about the right speed to me. haha
haha yes I speak rather slow😅
After 30 seconds, I realized that I didn't turn on the subtitles.
Perks of watching anime.
Just wondering, when you're practicing any language do you just speak in that language to yourself at home alone or what do you do to practice?
if you are referring to improving the speaking skills! yes! sometimes I do speak to myself in Japanese haha

Hello my dear! 🌸 How long did it take you to learn Japanese using these methods? I have N4 level and I'm moving to Japan in 3 years, I know the progress is different for everyone but I would like to know more or less if I should speed up with my learning. 🥺
Hi baobaopearly! I was wondering if you can make a video like this for spanish please 🫶🏽🫶🏽
Good luck!! がんばってねー!
沒包含出口日語的日語資源列表不能被視為道地列表。。。釣りしているのです. 謝謝您分享日語資源。
謝謝你的留言~因為我的影片主要是做給講英文的觀眾觀看,雖然我也很喜歡出口老師,但因為他許多初級的影片是用中文解說所以雖然很可惜,但就決定不放進來了~
I’m curious, What is your native language ?
It’s Mandarin!
