Actually Kung ma full developed ang buong Roxas City mas malaki ang total land area nito kesa Iloilo city. Kaso some barangays are still agricultural and fishponds areas . But we're going to be the next big thing city in d future Kasi mas advantage Tayo dahil sa BAYBAY LONG Beach natin that will be more livevable place for tourists..
I do agree with you Recto Areno, and by the year 2030-2040-2050, then, this "Ciudad de Roxas" will become a competitive city in the Western Visayas region. However, agricultural and fishponds must remain as a major part of the fundamental livelihoods of the local people. Discriminating against them will discourage the backbone of the economy. What is needed is to improve them as part of tourism also with respect to parity economics. The progress and prosperity of a place or city do not only depend on tourism but the economic sustainability of the local people.
