Miss Chris' weekly show on NPR!!!
New Monthly show coming on Audible. I been to 5 tapings in NYC. Energy Curfew Music Hour.
Yes!
I love that they're still making music together
A long Rodeo..
Yes!
Sara’s Nashville-high-strung guitar adds so much depth here. That and the bowed bass 😍
Have loved them for over 20 yrs. ❤
Such a beautiful flow/pattern, sounds like what knitting feels like! And the way the bass gets out right before the snap at the end of the interlude, got me giggling with joy.
I like that analogy!
This makes me emotional and I don't even know why, exactly. It's beautiful though.
Man I miss these guys....
This is gorgeous, almost haunting. Outstanding harmonies. (As usual :) ) Lovely. Thank you for sharing it.
Beautiful
When the bass came in, perfection!
Wow if that does not totally reflect how I feel stepping into this new year!
My favorite of the new tunes
Excellent. Saw them many many years ago at the Bottom Line in NYC. Been a fan ever since.
Beautiful.
Beautiful music.. wonderful musicians & vocals. 👍It's so calming🙂
Timeless
"March 23 of this year" in the description should say "last year" since this is being posted in 2024 (although I'm sure it was recorded in 2023). Beautiful rendition!
if possible - listen with decent speakers or headphones to get the full effect of those double-bass notes
Tell me about that mandolin, Chris.
I'm not Chris, but it is a mandola (tuned CGDA) that was made by my friend Lawrence Smart.
Who else was snapping?! A ghost?!
Bass. You can see him in the background a couple times. Really cool effect.
@@travisrockwell6409 I was trying to look close but no great camera angles. That was my only guess
@@antjesseharrismusic I was thinking the same thing you were. Just barely noticed it.
