@@MK-zf6or it handles better than most cars. Like I compared it to some Mercedes it handles and rides much better. But I love using the sports Manuel mode it’s much fun. It’s not very fast but handles well and is just a great car overall when it comes to quality

I was walking on this road on my hitchhiking trip through Serbia and promised to return there someday with a car. Now I am buying my first car and waiting to afford this Lexus and just found your video and I love it, perfect car, perfect road, perfect driver. Thank you for uploading this video. Greetings to Serbia from Czechia.
It’s a very good car had mines for a year and it’s super reliable been drifting it/just beating on it and nothing has broke just new tires because u love burn thread with this car
I can see by the way you're driving you're just that bit too far away from the steering wheel (like almost all people do..). Sit yourself a couple of cm further upfront (maybe 2 or 3 max) and the car will feel weird the first couple of minutes, but after that twice as good and controllable 👍
I'm 6ft so if I get my seat closer to the wheel & pedals I will have better feel for the steering wheel but then my legs are bit cramped since I moved my seat closer to the pedals aswell. But yeah I understand and agree with your point
bravo, neighbour! Odličen klip! How well is it sound insulated compared to a mercedes c-class for example? Do you think it is quieter at highway speeds?
You feel the weight a bit but It handles very well! Lots of grip and steering wheel is precise and fast ratio :) Brakes have nice feeling but I wished they were a bit stronger
I own Lexus IS250, Toyota Corolla T Sport and Peugeot 207 GTI, my favorite is the Lexus since its a near perfect blend of sport performance and luxury comfort :)
Hello Vučko! Can you please tell me about your maintenance experience with the is250? I currently own a first generation Octavia vRS and its fast and spacious but its a nightmare on maintenance, everything on it is expensive and the engine isnt exactly reliable, it doesnt leave me by the side of the road but there is always something wrong with it and frankly Im tired of it, I spend more time fixing it than actually enjoying it, and its burning through my wallet very quickly. Anytime I need basic maintenance, half my wage is gone because everything is big and expensive. Brakes for example, it has 312mm discs at the front so If Im buying a reputable brand, just the front brakes will cost me around 300 eur... And thats if I change it myself, if I get a garage to do it then 360 or more... So I want to change to something just as fast, bit more luxurious, but I dont want an audi, I want a break from Vag products. What trouble have you had with this car so far? Would you recommend switching from a light and powerful turbo car to a heavy more luxurious car like the is250? Will I enjoy it as much as the octavia?
its super reliable, my fam had one for three years now (the car tho is from 2013) and the only thing that went wrong with it was the AC broke and even that only cost $600
Sounds like you need a cheaper car bro no offence. It's better to have a normal car and to have money to maintain it rather than having an expensive car which you cannot afford when something breaks or you need to make a loan to pay for maintenance.
How does the maintenace work on these? Are the parts somewhat reasonably accessible or do I have to be a trained mechanic to maintain it myself? -I mean things like break disk changes, transmission fluid changes, etc? I wouldn't like to buy one to find out that there are huge costs caused by professional maintenance in some garage. Also, which one to buy out of the following: (I'd like to buy a 5-door...) IS 250, GS 300 or GS 450h and why? Does anyone have the 450h and could tell me how (un-)reliable they are? Thank you!
When it comes to accessibility it depends on what country you are in. I dont know if you can maintain it yourself. For example to change the xenon in headlights it very hard to get to, prices for usual stuffs like brake discs or fluids expect it to be like 30-50% more expensive than Toyota or lower class cars. As for which car I recommend well if you are not over 6ft and like a sporty feel driving then IS250, if you like spacious and more luxurious car packed with more features but not so sporty ride then GS
No you should be fine. These cars are engineered so well that it makes it almost the perfect car which is why Toyota discontinued them. Also because People were complaining about it being under powered with too much weight (I agree) which is why the is200t replaced the is250. The is250 is also known as queen of reliability depending on how you maintain it too. Hopefully Toyota brings back turbocharged 6 cylinders again 🤞 that naturally aspirated 4GR sound will be missed.
Agree, although I put only one person in danger and driving very fast at 3:25 but I understand you. Also that road is one direction so there are no chance of ongoing traffic.
I just got this car and I’m in love with it.
Me too. I live in New Mexico, and took my first drive in the Mountains this week. Sweet!
Just got one in red (2013) but it's gonna be a month before it gets delivered what's so fun about it and does it have good speed (acceleration)

The engine sounds excellent
It may not be the fastest car but it's alot more reliable than other cars for the price and you get luxury features that you don't get on other cars

Nice car, in good shape for its age. Take care.
Didn’t know you had another channel
Im between a Golf V GTi and the IS 250, which one to chose?
Mk5 GTI is faster, but the lexus is250 is probably more reliable.
Saif0412 not probably issa fact Lexus will last longer, had a freind sell his GOLF V GTI he couldn’t deal with the problems so he got a GS300 LEX 99’

You shouldn't drive recklessly like this on public roads, keep this for track driving. You're putting yourself and others in danger.
