I bought this superb watch right after being introduced directly from Amazfit Germany. Picked the silver one with the rubber band and man the watch looks damn good.
I had prior Huawei watch gt2 pro, gt3, Apple watch, Ticwatch, Samsung, and Fossil and I have to admit this one is the best so far. The battery life is 6 days considering my daily workouts every day and tracking the walks with GPS on (14k steps on average daily). Plus I have turned on all notifications and sleep tracking.
I have compared their sensors with gt3 during a workout and the heart tracking difference was only 1 best which is awesome.
I have a Huawei GT 2 and thinking of upgrading to the GTR 4. Battery life and GPS tracking are important to me, This seems like a no-brainer. My only concern is changing to the Zepp ecosystem.
ey man! , did you compare with Gt3 o Gt3 pro? what kind of workout was it?
I also have Huawei GT 2. My only concern was about the sensors of the Amazfit GTR4. When I bought my watch in 2019, I remember people complaining about the GTR's (the first one) sensors and GPS. That's why I choose Huawei GT 2 at the time.

I had the appl watch for a few years and loved it. I then switched back to Android and found very lack luster smart watches. I tried Samsung watches, Ticwatch, and others... I recently just bough the T-Rex 2 mostly because of the rigid build quality being I work in construction. It hasn't even been a week but so far the battery has been great and i enjoy how smooth its been running.
Been curious about this watch for a bit now, your concise explanation of the features and detailed walkthrough is very well made and appreciated. 👍

Is there a Pro? I got the GTR 3 Pro and its great. Glass is still pristine as well as the body. It really aged well.
Never got to try any of these. I think my husband would like one of these with his pixel 6pro. He needs durable but i do hear good things about this brand 😍
Im still using GTR 1 as GTR2,3 seemed to look cheap with white etched full glass top, GTR 4 seems to have gone the right direction back to GTR 1 to have that premium well built look

Yea, agree J., I’ve tried several watches, my favorite was the fossil gen 5 but battery life was bad. I just don’t like Apple and have got away from Samsung, I think amazfit makes some great watches. I think I’ve found the watch for me. This one . They just seem to do it right. I do like mobvoi and Huawei. But this watch seems for me . Great review, thanks much.

I have the original Amazfit, GTR 2 and now a GTR 3 Pro. I love these watches. However, I don't find this video useful as the owner goes from GTR 2 to GTR 4 and doesn't explain the changes in regard to the latest version GTR 3 PRO. To me this new watch seems very similar to the GTR 3 Pro.

@sfreud the displays are the same in my opinion by looking at both. The gtr 4 has more of a premium feel to it and battery definitely lasts longer. I have the superspeed black. Amazfit is now offering a trade in for the gtr 3 pro

Really liked my gtr 3 pro, can’t wait to get this one.
Been wanting the racetrack gray, was sold out within a few ours what a disappointment they only had a couple in stock apparently.
I actually like the silver model my gtr 3 pro was all black so it's a nice change. It's more of a dark rose gold color than silver.

The widgets when you swipe to the left are looking a lot nicer, also has more premium watch faces.
They say it automatically detects 25 fitness workouts, it’s the first watch to do so.
The screen is a little smaller but still good size, the watch has the same dimensions only made with a nice looking aluminum edge for a more premium look.
Does the button get in the way or accidentally gets pressed?

Great video buddy. I have always loved Amazfit's products. I usually wear there bands. I had the GTS 2 I think awhile ago. On text messages or social messages can you reply back to them on the watch? Or like a quick Reply message back to them? Keep up the good work!!!!
Yes. You can reply to messages with pre built or custom messages that you can setup in the app

I have had my GTR 4 for 2 days. I can't get the ZEPP APP to look like yours in this video and have all the controls that your ZEPP gives you access to. Do I have the wrong APP? I am stumped.

Nice video. The GTR 2 and 3 have poor heart rate accuration. How Is the GTR4 correlation , the sleep monitoring the heart rate accuration compared to the polar strap H10 ? Thanks

Hy can i have a question? If you start a workout can u set the watch to go always on mode? my oneplus watch is just turning off the screen while im doing the workout and its very annoying i have to move my hand to turn on the screen to watch the traning data in live..
Can you save a custom timer countdown? The GTR2 is unable to save the custom countdown that you set so you have to set it every time...

what app you use in your smartphone to set the gtr 4?
J I don't suppose you know whether or not there is an option in the app for these watches to "turn off wrist detection" similar to what the apple watches offer? Samsung used to offer it up till the watch 3 but then when they moved to android wear its no longer an option. I have a lot of tattoos you see (on both arms!) so when I wear a smart watch it has to have that option otherwise the sensor wont know I'm wearing it and I wont get notifications. cheers!

Yes, Amazfit in general syncs with Strava and I'm quite sure the auto pause can be set when going slow as well
I tried other brands and eventually went back to amazfit because it syncs directly to strava unlike others and I missed the zepp app as well. There is auto stop feature but it has to be manually turned on.

I Purchased GTR 4 but whenever I get miss call or call, in the notification it doesn't show the caller's name even though the contact number is saved on the phone. It only shows numbers. But during the call it shows the caller's name, the issue is in notification only. Could you pls let me know how can we sort this out?
How can long ( seconds ) can you set the screen to be on before screen goes off or in always on mode ?

@@marufio interaction is not supported by keyboard but by preset short replies. Right? For language fonts, I don't think it'll support every single one. Even latest mi band does not support my country's language.

Could it replace a stratos 2 in terms of sports coverage, I'm mostly doing cycling, trail running but I'm especially curious about triathlon. Is it possible to import and follow a route? And what about maps?
You can import routes thru the app and follow along a map with the phone or watch.

I know what the Galaxy Watch can do, I have been using it for a while. I have tons of their watches, but I workout for longer than 10 mins. lol...so it does not work as stated like my Watch 4.

The amazfit and hauwei watches are better than the tic watch if battery life is important. The tic runs Goodloe OS which eats battery life, I barely got two days on a tic, but having google assistant is way better than Alexa. Also if your using a iPhone, you will be unhappy with a tic watch, music, phone call features don’t work, so that was a deal breaker for me.
@@chrish601 battery life I really don't care that much, if it can give me 2 days or at least a day and a half. So technically I'd be charging almost every morning.
