I really enjoyed watching you draw a that picture, it was inspiring and I learned a few things too! Thank you for a lovely video....and reminding me to slow down!!
Yeah I remind myself to slow down too. I managed to relax while drawing this. But with doing videos, I have to also slow down away from the camera now and then too:)
This is so fascinating to watch, you paint so loosely and yet it’s absolutely clear what you have suggested with a messy splodge and a few lines. The feet are just genius,👏👏👏👏👏
Yes, I see outlines as just thin long shapes, no different from a bigger shape. So determining whether they are midtone or dark or white helps me plan the outcome of my drawing better.
You have such a unique brush technique, I love it! It’s dry and scratchy , creating such an interesting under painting. Beautiful video. I subscribed instantly, can’t wait to explore your work 🤗
Dry and scratchy due to a congested waterbrush. But that's the beauty of natural media- these little accidents that bring us down different paths and we discover new things:)
What a joy that you share your beautiful everyday life and your beautiful talent. I have learned so much from you about techniques but even more about self acceptance in order to get to the creation at hand and about giving oneself permission to open up and flow. I can’t tell you how much this means to me, I’m sure to all of us. ❤
Thank you Wiley. So cool what you go out of just watching me do a random drawing. And they are good points to remind myself as I go along too. Thank you!
Haha yes I like it functional. I do try to clean it up once in a while. Same for my table. Probably a good discipline to do that. I think it should help me think clearer😄
I’m obsessed with the process and product. This was really inspiring to watch!!!
Haha Thank you!
Super! This brings back memories of watching my son playing with his toy vehicles... totally absorbed, making up scenarios... oblivious to all else.
Haha yes, drawing and playing with toy vehicles are both absorbing activities. When I do that it helps me tune out the world for a while.
Great harmony of lines and colours. Lovely!
What a pleasurable artwork and video, so cozy

Very inspiring, and love the outcome!

Yes but I do keep in mind a handful of principles to guide me, like value contrast, and balance and such:) With that, I just try to go crazy.
What a great lesson! Going with the flow…playing, being open. Thank you! I’m subscribing.✌🏽
Thank you. I still want to develop this playing more. I think they are so many other ways to play like this.
Very good comments! What I’ve learned from you today: color can be used as a mid tone. 🎉👍 Thank you! Very useful in urban sketching linework.

What a great page. Love it
Thanks so much!
Great how you pulled it together!
Yo Roger. Glad it came together somewhat. well I'm happy with it!
I love that your well-used paint box is such a mess, i.e.,it's not just for show. A real artist at work/play.
Haha yes I like it functional. I do try to clean it up once in a while. Same for my table. Probably a good discipline to do that. I think it should help me think clearer😄
Lovely
Thank you!
A great way to relax, for me it is relaxing to watch it too ^^
Your messy loose relaxed Sunday afterlunch drawing made me wanna have a messy loose relaxed Sunday afterlunch drawing session 😊
Yeah we artists should just have fun once in awhile!:)
It was fun to see you develop this from both some real observation and from your imagination 😃
Thanks. I think I get bored trying to only draw from observation. So I’ve been trying this mix of observation and imagination.
Lovely watercolor drawing as always ☺️
Thank you!
Always interesting. Creativity is yours
I wasn't sure how it would come together. Thanks!
I love your palette
Ah I think i was just going with warm colours with just a bit of cool colours to cool it down.
@@Drewscape-art I actually met your tiny rusty metal palette. it's fantastic!
@@christina.sotiropouloureally? When?
@@Drewscape-art 😂 *meant
@@christina.sotiropoulou ah!😄
i absolutely love the idea of ruining a page to counteract performance anxiety. i'll have to try that.
haha, i've been trying this more often these days. I'm liking it:)
It’s my drawing, I’m allowing it
Yes indeed😂
