- Spend the day with me as a social media manager in Atlanta. 👩🏽💻 I started my day with tidying up my apartment, some much needed self-care and a walk with my dog, Jorja. 🐾 I decided to work away from home, so I went to Juiceheads: a super cute, Black-owned juice bar with all the aesthetics and popping wifi! 🙌🏽 I shared my high-level to-do list, outlining what I planned to work on for my client. I stayed at the Juiceheads for about 4 hours before going on a quick grocery run and returning home to work some more. 🛒 I shared a little bts of the platforms and apps I use to create. I love sharing my work with you guys and will definitely share more, but I do have to be mindful and respectful of my clients and their privacy. This is a typical work day in my life!

Hey girl! Thank you so much for all of your support. 🥰 So I don't have a personal project manager, he's on the team fir the brand I work for. The owner hired him. For now, I operate on my own. However, if you're looking to hire some help, I suggest looking for an assistant/intern depending on your budget (that's my next step). I'll talk more about it in a video soon, from a brand perspective. Definitely going to do more of these, since you guys enjoy them. ✨
I learned so much from this video! I was considering doing content management but I don’t know where to start 🥹😩. I know I can do it, because I create my own content but the business and strategy side, I would need to learn more. Any suggestions or connections on how I can step into that space?
Hey Quetta! Thank you for watching. So glad you learning a lot from it. So content management and social media management are a little different. I have a q&a about it I posted a couple of years ago. I plan to do an updated one soon, but that one still has some relevant aspects to it.
I think researching a little more is a great start! That’ll help you decide which way you want to approach it. One suggestion I have is to ask a friend or small business to run their social for them as practice for you. Create a strategy and watch it grow and then you can use that as evidence of your work - if that makes sense. I’m gonna do more videos like this soon though.
