- TVS Raider is the brand new 125cc motorcycle from the house of TVS Motor Company that will take on the Honda SP125 - world's top-selling 125cc motorcycle. We got the opportunity to drive at the company's Hosur based track and came out rather impressed. Whether it's got what it takes to be the new segment leader, we tell you in this review. Its base variant (drum brakes both at the front & rear) is priced at Rs 77,500, whereas the top-end Disc trim is priced at Rs 85,469 (ex-showroom).
Whoever designed this bike deserves a praise🙌👏👏👏
The bike has a Bumblebee like appearance from front. It looks fantastic..

I have driven it continuously for 300km at 80km/h speed. This bike is really very comfortable, enjoyed riding it ..❤

First of all, huge round of applause for TVS.
This is such a fresh design from TVS that this design can be carried along to other iterations like Raider 150, Raider 180 etc with very minor changes

@@IndianpsychonautRaider series can be more towards commuting like the FZ series of Yamaha and Apache can be more towards Sports like Yamaha R15 so that both brands can carry their own appeals bro. All these are just our wishes and introspections through 😅

Headlight design, instrument cluster, colour combination, side stand cut up sensor, split seat are the features that amazed me with in just 125cc bike. Being the owner of the 1604v and being jealous. 😢😥😂

The Feeling When You Realise, Raider has inherited a lot from RTR 160 4v!! And even some are even higher than 160!! It has Modes, It has Gear Positioning Indicator, It has side stand engine cut off!! Why TVS why!! Hum 160 waale se hi itna kanjushi kyu kia!! 😂😂😂😂 From Handle bar, clutch/brake lever, switch gear, indicators to Footrests!! Raider has got everything from RTR!! These quality parts will definitely make it a standout bike in it's segment!!!

Infact they are giving raider a TFT display like apache 310 as an optional for maybe 5000 extra.
Fz25 should be ashamed.. Ki 125cc ka display is miles ahead of fz250 🙈
I wanted to buy the fz25 but I cant ride 500kms a day looking at that tiny calculator display 🤣

1) 125 cc bike mei split seat nehi dena tha..
2) 125 cc mei kick start nehi diya..
The headlight design will alone attract half of the customers. Plus the seats and tail light is just awesome to look at.

But I think the TVS's tieup with BMW gave them the mojo to build better machines!
TVS specially give attention to exhaust sound. And this one also bang on...
I have SP 125 & it's panel quality is not so great, there's uneven gaps everywhere b/w panels. Already in video I can see that this bike has better build quality..
It's top speed is 100 kmph, I personally have taken my SP 125 to 110 kmph on a flat road, my weight is what we know as an average teenager's.
SP 125 misses out on gear indicator, side stand engine cut off & split seat which this bike has.
Don't know what mileage this bike shall give but my SP 125 gives more than 65+ kmph.
6 months ago I bought the SP 125 (disc variant) 95k on road.
Let's see how Raider fares against SP 125...

This is Clear Indication of new design cue which fantastic & slap to Honda. Normally my personal experience is with Honda Showroom people , they Act like Sarkari Babu (Government Employee) however Honda SHiNE & Hornet Still have Overheating issue on long Run. However this is not the case with TVS bikes, I ventured 1600 km To n Fro Journey with TVS Victor, it's nothing like that... Enjoyed the whole Journey & the best part is I rode it around 600km almost with with least stop.

Raider cannot split the market of sp125 or shine, glamour, these bikes looks classic and matured and design language is universal and suits for broader age group people. While raider is aggressively designed intended for younger groups and capable to spilt the market of buyers who cant afford Fzs apache gixxer like trendy bikes. Raider can only fill the gap of very young budget buyers market.
