@@mayakeller5605 the role that Kangana is playing was of a very powerful woman. This would be in the likes of let’s say Margret Thatcher. The piece of history in which this film is based on is very intriguing. The life of Indra Gandhi itself was fascinating, promising a reverting screenplay. Should this be a well made film, and India invests in that campaign Oscar campaign, I feel that her performance alone could raise eyebrows at the Oscars.

For me doing a biopic is the hardest thing as you tend to simply mimic the person you're playing but Kangana, man she has not only nailed Indira Gandhi's mannerisms with her superb acting without opening a room for debate that she is simply mimicking. The way she uses her facial expressions especially mouth lips and eyes that's perfection.That's acting for me. Same with SSR. It doesn't look like a mimicry of someone. You should watch Indira Gandhi's earlier interviews during emergency time and you'll know it.
