Is there any NON GARMIN devices on the marine network that are not running through a yellow POE isolator. Think light controllers stereos anything can do it and it makes crazy stuff happen. Garmin had me chasing a ground for hours until I found the light controller without isolator. Was causing depth sounder to crash out
I only grounded the one display as per Garmins recommendation. Just to see if it works. Then I will ground both if it fixes it. I don't have high hopes.
@@JustinLeeMarineI have the Garmins also and anytime water drips or sprays on the screen they freak out. Glad SeaVee has the plexiglass covers for them. If it gets nautical, I just lower the covers, and it's solved. Too bad the displays can't discern between touch and drip.

My dream boat. I think the max HP on that model is 1200 so a lot of the new builds are using 2 600's instead of the 3 400's.

Nice work. I heard you mentioned the port display was more of an issue than the starboard. Did you happen to ground the starboard display as well?
