Hi Randy, the last bourbon mash you made, you fermented without straining the grains until distilling, have you noticed any difference in the flavor with the grains and without the grains after distilling. thanks
Great video Randy! Hey, take one or two of your discarded cinnamon sticks; and place them on top of your coffee grounds in the coffee basket, when you make a pot of coffee. I did this with the freshly discarded cinnamon sticks when I made my first batch of sweet apple pie moonshine, and oh man was that good coffee! A real eye-opener! Take care, be safe and stay healthy.

Thanks for the video! Still spirits makes a butterscotch schnapps that is pretty good, is there a chance you might have a recipe? Google turns up nothing.
Hey there Mervyn. I did an infusion with Werther's butterscotch candies in a neutral spirit that I may or may not have ahhh,, come upon. It infused pretty well but was very tough to filter through coffee filters, even one at a time. I'm not sure why, but it seemed to foam up some and clogged the filters quickly. You will have to play with the quantities, but I started with around 1 oz of candies to 4 oz of spirit at 100 proof as a trial. Start there and you can dilute down with simple syrup and or glycerin if you want to sweeten and increase mouth feel. Also, American schnapps is usually lighter in proof and more sweet than German or European schnapps so adjust to your own personal taste. Best wishes. --den
great video, nice and easy :) next time maybe try put the cinnamon sticks in the hot water that you melting the sugar in. I think it will give you more flavour and save on the number of sticks you using. would be interesting to hear back if it works well. keep up the great content
Hi Randy. I’ve made fireball a little different than you do. There are so many techniques to doing things. I noticed you added Bourbon to your jar. I couldn’t help but noticed your bourbon had a bourbon color. Distilling come out clear. So how did you get the color in the bourbon? Cheers.

Hi Dennis, everyting that comes out of a still is clear the color comes from the chared oak it is aged with Barrel or toasted oak chips Cheers!!
I’ve tried the medium oak cubes
But I thought it was a over kill. The taste was very strong. Maybe you could be more specific in the details to help a fellow out and the community.
@@dennisolden542 try the med. toast oak chips i use them a lot
The question therefore would be, what kind and size container how much chips for how long? Maybe too many questions?
Use your oatmeal whiskey. Cinnamon oatmeal sounds fantastic.
