Good evening I just passed my state exam for Accidentally and Health Insurance can’t wait to start my own business and to grow my empire thanks for subscribing Kenny.
Once again your content is light years in front of anyone else that's posting similar types of content about getting into the insurance industry. Well done!
Just started at State Farm back in January. Just started filling my pipeline 2 weeks ago. You’re videos have been a great tool on getting ahead on what to expect in the insurance world. Love the channel
Great videos with lots of awesome tips! Have you heard any pros or cons about using tools like Bolt Access to start and build your book of business with the bigger carriers?
@KennyJTV Follow up question: I want to start as an Independent agent but really need a steady stream of income. Can I ask how much I can expect to make as a captive if i start as such just to learn the basics?
Hey Kenny, I have my State Farm Interview today. I applied for the Receptionist position. What do you think they’ll have me do outside of receiving calls?
Do you have more info on carrier appointments? I'v stated working as a marketing coordinator for an independent broker and I've increased sales so much within the last 6 mo he needs to hire more agents. I'm now interested in starting my own company and need direction. He is only partially willing to give only bits of advice be he doesn't want me to leave but he doesn't want to pay me what I'm worth. Hopefully you can help! Thanks in advance!
Hi Kenny, during the first two weeks you said you wrote policies. Did your company help you with leads for it? I had to find a person to sell to and it was hard. I could use some suggestions on how and where to get leads.
This is so helpful. I’m a new P&C agent and I’ll be starting my new career in with an agency on May 16th. How much time did you allow yourself to get licensed in Life and Health?
Hi Stephanie, congrats on your new career! I had 3/4 of my license before I started in the industry so it wouldn’t be much pressure. Life & Health should take you 1-2 weeks!
Do you recruit people to work for you ? I like how informative you've been. I just received my license and I'm not sure how to get started because I don't have a mentor. The company I wanted to work for just threw a lot of information at me but I'm still lost 🙄
Really helpful video as always. I’m currently selling auto and life policies. I’m at the end of my first week, and just about everything you stated is accurate lol.
@@KennyJTV I Just passed my Fl exam on the first go. but do to being in the military and out of state i had to get a new license with NC but all my docs say FL. Do you think that will be an issue when I try to get the state license?
I have Instagram but I removed Facebook do you think I really need social media in order to get more clients ? Thanks! I am waiting to start at State Farm in Hollister. I just passed the property and causality test last Wednesday.

Will you do a video on the interview process for insurance agent?
Are you referring to when an agent is looking for a job?
@@KennyJTV Yes. And is invited for an interview. I wanted to know what kind of questions would be asked.

Thank you! I've heard of Bolt but haven't used them.
@@KennyJTV oh okay! Is there anyone that you recommend that helps independent agents build their numbers with bigger carriers within their first year?
I'm thinking about getting into this 🤔 So I'm doing my homework.

How long did you stay with State Farm?
5 months, after that I knew I needed to leave to open my agency!
@KennyJTV Follow up question: I want to start as an Independent agent but really need a steady stream of income. Can I ask how much I can expect to make as a captive if i start as such just to learn the basics?
Depends on the agency. I was making 40k base + commission when I left.

Hey Kenny, I have my State Farm Interview today. I applied for the Receptionist position. What do you think they’ll have me do outside of receiving calls?
Hey! Usually small service tasks, but it does depend on the agency owner and what they assign to you.
