    The kids playing in the background just being kids made this video even better. Made it seem genuine. Every day life in reality.

    Thank you so much, I enjoyed your video! Can you make a video of the bonnet with a long wide band that we can tie ( I like how you explain).

    This is an excellent video. I’m definitely going to give it a try. The children in the background are so cute.
    They are busy little people.
    Thanks for sharing your skills, Sharii

    Great tutorial. I've also cut at 14, 13 inches and as small as 11 inches which makes a 22 inch circle. Finished it off with top stitch.

    when you said "if you don't like ironing sewing is not for you" I really felt that!! lol
    my roommate has been telling me I need to be wearing a bonnet to bed for ages so I'm finally getting around to making one. I have short hair so should I make a smaller circle? thank you for the helpful video! much love 💕

      😀 yes ironing is so important in sewing...yes make a smaller circle, you can try 10 or 12 inches for shorter hair

    I am new to sewing, my question is , why isn't the casing also done on the inside, before turning the bonnet right side out? Can you make the casing on the inside before turning?

    • @sekinatsdiary8454
      @sekinatsdiary8454  3 місяці тому

      @banzaisbanza hello, you won't be able to turn it to the right side if you do the casing 1st.

    The satin fabric will be bigger than the cloth by an inch?

    • @sekinatsdiary8454
      @sekinatsdiary8454  3 роки тому

      No the Satin and the cloth are the same size but sometimes when you're cutting your fabric one might come out bigger that the other but you want it to be the same size.

    Can you recommend a beginner friendly sewing machine?

    • @sekinatsdiary8454
      @sekinatsdiary8454  3 роки тому +3

      Singer Promise sewing is quite good for beginners (that was my first sewing machine) or Brother LS14 they are both under £100

      @@tameecaowens Not sure if you are on social media. I use nextdoorneighbor.com and there are several buy nothing/pay nothing via my neighborhood so I reached out to my neighbors and asked if anyone had one they'd like to get rid of and several people responded.
      I was gifted a free one in great working condition. (A family member gave me a brand new one but I couldn't figure it out) so the used one from my neighbor worked out great!
