Used to live in Manchester, TN where Bonnaroo is held and got free bracelets/tickets. Saw Les Claypool a ton of times there, but this was by far the best performance.
very very good...........................................................................................................................................................
i was at this show. in my mind it feels like he used a different bass for every song. anyone else there remember how many times he pulled a different bass out?
it makes me so happy when he sings 50 cal. this video was great. it seems like most of the other stuff was improv. he prolly didnt even know he was going to be singing 50. cal until les started in with the bass line for it.. haha
It was so hot that day, my first bonnaroo, cant imagine wearing that get up and playing. Dust ball of hot wind, i was soaked in sweat and dusted in dirt.
There's stories of pleasure...there's stories of pain..there's stories of pig masks and electric bass
I can't get over how cool this is and how casually they deliver this badassness.
This world needs more people like Mister Claypool...
@@gunslingerfire OK flying frog.

Plus MIRV
@@cyberhatter Indeed.
No, there’s the perfect amount of Claypools. More would make him less awesome.
imagine going to a classical musical school to learn cello and end up in a place like this. seems like a dream
what a sitiation!!
I did go to a classical music school, and I’d love a gig like this.
@@macleadg HARD SAME!
mirv is underrated if you ask me
This beat is slamming. Great tune to blast on your car radio on your way to work. It's better than coffee.
I blaze this song on my way to work all the time 😂
Even better WITH coffee!

This performance was a highlight of Roo 08. It was so good live.
Best version of this song ever! Never gets old!

@@colonelofrky5065 You know it brother, he'll get old and forget. But we will live on to remember. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
Bonnaroo was a bad ass experience that I treasure from back in the mid to late 2000s. Flowers, PCP,shrooms, Christina Aguilera and Claypoole.
Used to live in Manchester, TN where Bonnaroo is held and got free bracelets/tickets. Saw Les Claypool a ton of times there, but this was by far the best performance.
Doesn't get any much better , this gem , while absolutely wasted. Love it !
The Cello man rocks.
Absolutely the coolest version of this song Les! Love you music, sense of humor ♥️
I used to live in the town Bonnaroo is hosted and would get free tickets every year. This was one of the best sets out of the 4 years I went!
Manchester, right? I went to Roo 03 04 and 05. The town folks were all super cool the years I went
this was my first time seein claypool. the whole set was badass
best show i've ever seen, still come back to listen to it all the time.
Still one of the sickest fucking tunes , even after all these years...
I agree!
I agree!
I agree!
Palo is a real down to eath dude. He has a great personallity to be as popular of a drummer as he is.
Les Claypool is a mad genious.
Me: listening to this downstairs...
My Wife: WTF are you listening to ?
Me:
oh you're so witty
I woulda said...." Mind your business devil woman"!!
never heard .50 before, and this is a second for rain, but it was a flawless transition
I love that insane MADNESS , when it's in control , Less Claypool is a Stuper Geinious , 😬 , one of the best , ...
I never can get enough of Les Claypool! Fabulously creative!
Now this is experimental and alternative!
Man this is just one of my favorite songs ever
same here. I never heard this until last week and I can't stop playing it.
Mine too. Then and now
Remember this song
Magistral gestion du groove, mental à souhait!
Mind blown.
Les Claypool best bass player ever
James Hatfield aproved
I agree
Everything works with the drummer, set the beat, Les would be great all by himself but both together is Great....♥
Awesome quality!
Seeing Claypool live with Gabby Lala was a special treat. (Nice gentleman)

This song is awesome. Love It.....
very very good...........................................................................................................................................................
Fine example of out Crimsoning the Crimson.
coolest sounding cello ever.
Good stuff. Another favourite of mine is their rendition of Thela Hun Gidgeet. Les completely destroys the bass solo
Did anyone else notice that bow twirl at 3:14?
It was pretty cool, right?

The rain during MMJ was shitty but Claypool melted my face off!
