I had the opportunity to go to New York City for the first time in my 35 years on this earth; spending the last 20 or so making music with friends from NYC I made on Internet forums and AIM back in those days. I made a stop in the Queensbridge houses because we were staying a few blocks away in Long Island City (Boro Hotel). To say how important this particular strip of section 8 housing was to my life, having never set foot in NYC until last summer, is a fucking understatement. Getting to see where it all started for so many of my favorite artists and friends, was fucking unbelievable. Thank you for this Mac.
