It's not correct value of 1TR that we uses in calculation. Tell them both the actual 1TR and the 1TR we are using. Being a teacher please don't give wrong information to students.

1 TR= 3.5167 KW , and ton is equal to british ton that is not equal to 1000 kg..u can refer CP arora (RAC).
