Well done. Except the fact, that BAT pays dividends in GBP and that’s why they didn‘t increased in USD every year. There was an increase in GBP every year for 26 years now, so we‘re talking about a dividend aristocrat.
Also it is important to understand that in Europe there is a different dividend payment philosophy than in the US. Dividends are not "stabilized" over time. Therefore if a company has a good year it will pay out more, in a bad year it will pay out less or none. That is normal here and should not be compared directly to US stock market.
This is a very important fact, and should not be overlooked!
Almost EVERY American forgets to account for currency conversion. My countrymen have extremely bad main character syndrome when it comes to looking at foreign stocks.😅😅
@livefree223 ah yes there are the multitude of followers in all of our society's. Yours included.
If MO divedend cover the projection of market aprition... Why u not do math !? From backtest of...5 years to future 5?
would like to see a WMT video and not just the normal one, but a long standing history one.
Great one! What is the best average dividend growth percentage I should look for?
what are your thoughts on ET
IMHO strong buys right now are SBUX, PFE, BTI and MMM. I have all of them, a bit frustrated because the market keep beating down them at absurd low valuations.
Question ?? Does a USA investor pay British tax ( deducted from my dividend ) ??? I have had this happen on some Canada stocks I have owned.
Appreciate your video.. thank-you!
HSY technicals on the weekly and monthly look really juicy. It's been holding and bouncing off the 233MA and the 50MA. Looks very, very similar to WSM last year where I averaged in at 113.30. I have about 65 shares averaged in at 185.45.
Besides that there is an inverted SHS in weekly chart
Seriously, love your break downs!! Thank you for doing this for us!
You are so welcome!
Would be interested if you could cover companies in the industrial and infrastructure sectors, such as DHI, CMCSA, and NSC. In my opinion with the current direction the country is going I truly believe these companies will see massive growth thru the next 3-5 years. We’ve kind of neglected these sectors and it seems like we need to meet a much higher demand. Just speculation but I’d like to hear your input on these topics.
nice idea!
@@Dividendology (LEN) may also be a good one, they just bought 3 nursery’s next to my house to be developed into 450 new homes
What you think Nike below 100 now
buy all day, at 90 buy way more lol
List of stocks in this video: MO, SBUX, PFE, HSY, BTI.
You're welcome.
Nice❤
And always! ADD inflation erousion!
Bat or altria?
Hey dividendology. I have a problem which I hope you could give some insights to. I have bought dividend growth stocks in my own country but we don’t have fractional shares. So I am not able to reinvest the dividends. Can you give me some advice on what to do with that money?
save it up to help you buy a complete share if you still want to increase your position on that stock
@@narz7573 yeah you are right. But do you think I can invest those dividends in etfs with low price in the meantime?
I bought your ticket data spreadsheet. I have no idea how to get it started or to use the pre built spreadsheets can you make a video on how to use it? I’m logging in to use it and nothing is working
Yes! You can watch it here: How to Download Tickerdata!
ua-cam.com/video/_ktIP6-O_eA/v-deo.html
Can you make a video of STOCK ticker NEE
bought this one too around 54
Literally did it because of you on my other channel - jaša rot
Can you review Ford(F)?
Ford is easy. Don't buy it. In 1989 they were trading just under $10/share and paid $0.48 per share. This year they're just over $12/share and paying $0.60. In those 35 years the dividend has been wildly unreliable and the price is up about 30%. If you're buying Ford, you better be using the wheel strategy for added income. Even then, it's not worth it.
Thanks
ADM is a interesting stock at the moment in my view.
Do you know more about it or have a link to more info? I have been looking to buy for a while. I thought it’s down off fraud claims? What’s going on
ADM's 12 month growth estimate is -17% and 5-year growth estimate is -6.6%. I wouldn't trust it but I was wrong that one time.
@@laramie5239 estimations are estimations, and it may be cheap enough. ADM is going to keep being ADM, essential business, critical infrastructure, 91 years of dividends, 50 of which have increased every year
@@laramie5239 Estimates are meaningless when it comes to cyclical stocks in my view. Personally, I see stubborn inflation for the foreseeable future and ADM positioning in the space is advantageous. However, if I knew the future, I wouldn’t be wasting my time commenting on UA-cam
I think you need to provide more info on that imperative charge/loss of $34 billion.
I may make a more detailed video on them in the future.
What site or software are you using? I usually use yahoo finance but found this one much cleaner.
Seeking alpha and Tickerdata. Link in description to both.
MO is up 5% the last hours LOL
crazy!
What is the reason for that?
Share buybacks by the company whenever it drops under 40.
@@davescashflows
please do ODFL, they are a beast nobody seems to notice. they have a even more insane CAGR then AVGO
old D is at a 52 week high
Is there a way to access your Tickerdata's spreadsheet for Patreon's users? If so, I will be happy to know how to access it. Thanks for usual support, keep doing such good reviews!
Thanks so much! And from now on I'm going to be posting my spreadsheets on Tickerdata. Tickerdata is a way better product and its cheaper! If you're a current patreon member, you can DM on patreon and I'll refund you for the past month if you are wanting to move to Tickerdata. It's what I would advise anyone interested to do.
Hsy is not at its low lol my lady bought in at 179 or 180$ about a couple months ago
If inflation is 4% YoY then dividend 5 yr. CAGR needs to be (1.04^5)-1 = 21.7%. Most of your "buys" are, at most, around 10%, and most much less. Huh ???????
Out of the companies covered in this video, the only two that I would invest in are SBUX and HSY.
If morals is what dictates your choise, you might have to rething your decisions...
thumbnail looks like dividend talks. is this an uno reverse?
Haha nope. I’ve been using this format for over a year. He stole this thumbnail format from me as well. Here’s a video where I used this format over a year ago: ua-cam.com/video/AtYYJXgOoms/v-deo.htmlsi=xdqF8SvQHH3d-tz8
@@Dividendology 😂 not surprising
The asshat at DT steals from other UA-camrs as well. I’ve blocked the channel from being recommended.
Just started watching and sometimes I just scroll through comments of some videos. I thought they were the same channels lol
Yeah, he pretty much steals everything from me
We need more analysis on VICI 💔🙏🙌🏾🇺🇸👍💪🏾👏🏿
coming soon!
Pfizer has gone limp -- no pun intended.
But what happens with the price of the stocks that goes down. You might make 10% in the dividend that year, but you might lose 15% on the equity price.
Where do you put your actual earnings, all delta being the same
Literally the only reason I still nibble on these zombie company sin stocks is for the loss write down I will eventually get when they finally fold. They are such a tiny part of my portfolio I'm not going to care a whole lot when they eventually fold, but the tax loss harvesting will be nice and I get cash now
Sbux is frustrating me!
It’ll be fine long term.
I copy your idea Bro ❤
CVS has a good dividend history and EPS forecast. Why do you not include this stock in your list?
Probably not a good idea to invest in industries that deal with Tobacco.
People have been saying that since the 1980s, and they were wrong then. Who knows about now... (long BTI, MO, PM)
Good video!!! I liked it !!!
:)
You have a little grammar spelling error in your output tab: "intrinisic" .
Keep up the good work.
👍👍👍
I actually already have pfe mo and bats , any chance to cover Roche also? ROG.NV it is also hit by covid vaccines but less taxed dividends for europeans
Pfe you aren't factoring why free cash flow is down. They bought like 4 companies over the last few years. Free cash flow will return. Pfe is a buy right now.
Starbucks being boycotted by at least a dozen millions consumers in the Western world... And at least a 100 millions consumers in the Mena region... Plus the fight with unions in the US.
CosMC is coming for Starbuck’s on top of it.
On the last earnings call for Hershey the ceo talked about increase cost of chocolate prices imported in and it effecting profits…….also two major tobacco companies are down big time… hmmmmm seems like a pass to me yall
🎯
Great video! Keep them coming...
Here is the list:
1. MO
2. SBUX
3. PFE
4. HSY
5. BTI
Thanks for your review - but tobacco is not good for health so I won't invest there. Starbucks is too "woke". Go woke, go broke as they say. I am considering Hersheys - except cocoa prices are getting higher & higher, squeezing them.
I would stay away from MO, things aren't going it the right direction for it.
the democrats are closing there short postions lol
The best Stock from the video ist sbux!😊
Pfizer could go to zero.
Yeah stay away from these falling knives! 👎🏽☹️
You need to talk faster. The speed you talk is BS.
