The Desk to Datacenter Journey: Episode 2 - Configuring the Cisco 3850 for Your Datacenter Network

Today we start our configuration. We setup routing, vlans, dhcp pools, and get our devices talking through the Cisco 3850!
This one is a bit longer than expected and it took me a while to get everything right as I'm not a network admin by trade.
Big thanks again to my co workers for helping me understand the networking concepts I'm explaining in the video.

How do you enable POE wia CLI ? I have try with a switch and not working, also need mentioning that i cannot fully remove config as it have imbedded in IOS some stack configs

Great job on your Cisco config. One thing to note for server mgmt subnets (Vlan50), they aren't typically configured with DHCP. Most all Data Center server mgmt ports (iDRAC, iLO, etc.) are configured with static IP's. Was there any specific reason why you created DHCP pool for Vlan50? Just curious. 👏👏

Mostly ease of setup. We run idrac as dhcp at work so you can plug and go. Then set reservations for quicker deployments
