Very helpful Thank you!
Thank you so much for this video bro it was really helpful as I was stuck on a couple issues and you completely cleared them up.
Very useful video! Since the stabilizer jacks are not meant to support all the campers weight, do you need to add lift jacks?
If you want to lift it off the ground, yes.
My employer from many years ago told a story about a young couple that pulled into the campground mid day with a pop-up camper and forgot to engage the slide supports. Being a young couple in love they found themselves rolling out onto the ground in their birthday suites in the middle of a no vacancy campground in broad daylight. Lesson learned, don't forget to engage the slide supports.
Yikes!
Purchased a Coleman Utah 2001 Pop Up camper last fall from friends of ours.I've been viewing quite of few videos and this one was extremely helpful and you pointed out some very important things to do before actually opening it up.You make it look so easy, but I'm sure you have been camping a few years and have it down to a science. Hopefully we'll be able to open our camper up in the next few days at our residence, weather permitting (living in up state NY) you never know! I will be using this video for sure and by the time we actually start camping maybe we'll have it down to a science too!! Thanks for the video!!
Glad this helped! I have a video for packing it up too but haven't posted but yet but I guess I should now that camping season is here
Cool video SevenFortyOne
Cool camper man.
The other “elephant in the room” might be your license plate issue…. Vermont in the beginning and Oregon in the middle… two different trailers?
Oops...you weren't supposed to notice that.
Same trailer, different plates...look close at the plates
Hi Rob,
Happy 4th to you and the family and stay safe. Guess with all the practice you've done it does look easy. 73 WJ3U
Sorry I missed your comment earlier Don - hope you had a great 4th!
Wow you make that look to easy! lol. That's a nice camper! Hope you had a good camping trip :)
Geez.... You must go on "Jeopardy" because my mind would not remember all those steps. Probably why I cannot do 5 WPM code. Never saw the "elephant" in the room either until you mentioned it. More like the "hamster" in the video. Hope you and your family enjoyed Vermont. While you were gone, my cat "Berwyn" learned how to stir-fry using the birdbath from the brutal heat we had here in Joisey! 73's de RW
I figured I'd better point out the missing lens before someone else did. Stay cool!
Where did you get the bed support poles?
They are part of the camper and attached to the bottom of the beds
The elephant in the room is: Why does your video start with Vermont plates, Iowa plate in the middle and ends with Oregon plates? A New Hampshire Vacation in a Utah Camper. Additionally you live in Connecticut. Now I am really confused.
I get around...
