They didn't legalize hard drugs - they decriminalized them. Just means they won't do hard jail time for unfortunately being an addict. Instead they will get the proper help that they need. You can't just walk in a store and buy hard drugs. And dealers will still pull in charges. This is a good thing. Help people over hurting them.

I've been watching Zane and Heath for multiple years, but whatever people are saying about how they should do their research before talking about anything as serious as the descrimilization of hard drugs, I agree. A "simple" google search to "fact check" is In know way credible. They discuss topics, it's your job to look deeper into them and do research on your own. Google run by an algorithm with websites and searches curated to each individual differently, a google search is the absolute dumbest way to get factual information,it is completely biased to the user and tells you what you want to hear rather then tell you fact. Again they are simply discussing the topics freely and not mater of factly. It is your job to research further and follow up on these topics yourself by gathering a conclusion through unbiased research done on your own time, you cannot expect the truth to be delivered on a silver platter for you, you have to think and form conclusions on your own. influencers try to justify why their job isn’t easy but compare to what people have to do to have a fraction of the money influencers get paid it is easier. every job comes with stress because every job is attached to money. just admit your job is easy compare to some people having to work 2 jobs to barely get through life. admit that people in the entertainment industry get paid soooo much money.

They are sitting on this set talking, making money while wearing their merch, and have millions of people that support them, cant compare that to a construction worker or any 9-5 job.

yes!! i love influencers and i respect what they do. they made valid points by talking about how stressful it is to edit, come up with new ideas, etc but there's always going to be something to complain about with every career. yea, they say they'd rather do a 9-5 job because it's structured and you know every single day what you're going to do and what your responsibility is, but they wouldn't be able to have the creativity they have today to do whatever they want. of course with this creativity, ideas can run dry and people can go into a slump. i don't think influencer's jobs are necessarily easy, but when you compare it to other jobs of course it'll be less work.

Some insight on why they decriminalized drugs: It definitely wasn’t them saying “if they want to do it let them do it” but more of recognizing that addiction is a disease & not something that should be punished. My sisters was addicted to heroin for several years, went to jail several times & also overdosed multiple times as well. It is similar to sending a mentally ill person to jail for something they did during an episode. Sure- they committed a crime but it links back to their illness. Jail won’t help an addict get clean, or a mentally ill person recover. A majority of crime does not need to be punished through prison, rather prevented by our government. (Most crime is caused because of poverty, addiction, mental illness, homelessness, etc). So yeah lmao- I don’t think they’re just deciding to let everyone run wild, but rather figuring out a better approach to solving the problem that is the opioid epidemic... because what we have been doing isn’t working.

It's also their passion. A 9-5 may be easier, but not as fulfilling to them. Your also taking what they said out of context. Their saying this because it is a routine, you know what to expect day to day, while being an influencer is unpredictable, you wake up each day and it's something new. Also as an influencer, it's like being the buisiness owner. You start out doing everything on your own, then you can choose to have a team who takes some of the load off your shoulders, however all responsibilities fall on you, even what your team does. On the contrary being a member of the team, you only have specific parts that your responsible for. If it fails, the owners livelyhood is in jeapordy, however the team can just go work for someone else. They are not trying to disrespect 9-5 jobs, they are just saying they have their lighter aspects.

decriminalize isn’t the same as legalize. decriminalizing these drugs isn’t saying you can go out and do them without consequences. it’s the same thing as before but instead, if you get caught with it, you won’t go to jail/prison and become a criminal for it. instead, you’ll go to rehab. so rather than throwing an addict in jail and cause them to withdrawal and think they’ll learn their lesson that way, they’ll get the help they need.

Some constructive criticism for the podcast is, you need to have someone doing actual research whenever you start discussing topics that can be one click away to know about, there were a lot of topics in this podcast that you guys could've just googled and not misspoke about said topics. It's hard to watch and listen to you guys talk about things that are wrong and most of your viewers begin to correct you in the comments. I totally agree with Heath always have emergency food and batteries flash lights emergency radio etc. The list goes on. Everyone would run to Heath when stuff hits the Dan.
