Yesss, i agree, yeah intelectual work is hard and stressful but they get rewarded for their work so much more, the fact that they can even talk about going on vacations and dont have to save up for months/years for it, tells how much easier their lifestyle is than most people. They are sitting on this set talking, making money while wearing their merch, and have millions of people that support them, cant compare that to a construction worker or any 9-5 job.
That’s something I don’t like about influencers when they get mad when people say their job isn’t that hard. Like please try to be understanding when people say that cause there’s people who work out in the sun for hours who get payed so poorly but do it for years.
@@guadalupejimenez740 this! I understand that they do work hard, but at the end of the day they get sponsorships/brand deals and access to events that normal people don’t get. They also have a following who will support them and give them money for merch or even just because, like with twitch donations/youtube live donations. A normal person has to work 9-5 and will never get that same luxury unless they happen to work in like tv/film.
yes!! i love influencers and i respect what they do. they made valid points by talking about how stressful it is to edit, come up with new ideas, etc but there's always going to be something to complain about with every career. yea, they say they'd rather do a 9-5 job because it's structured and you know every single day what you're going to do and what your responsibility is, but they wouldn't be able to have the creativity they have today to do whatever they want. of course with this creativity, ideas can run dry and people can go into a slump. i don't think influencer's jobs are necessarily easy, but when you compare it to other jobs of course it'll be less work.
Some insight on why they decriminalized drugs: It definitely wasn’t them saying “if they want to do it let them do it” but more of recognizing that addiction is a disease & not something that should be punished. My sisters was addicted to heroin for several years, went to jail several times & also overdosed multiple times as well. It is similar to sending a mentally ill person to jail for something they did during an episode. Sure- they committed a crime but it links back to their illness. Jail won’t help an addict get clean, or a mentally ill person recover. A majority of crime does not need to be punished through prison, rather prevented by our government. (Most crime is caused because of poverty, addiction, mental illness, homelessness, etc). So yeah lmao- I don’t think they’re just deciding to let everyone run wild, but rather figuring out a better approach to solving the problem that is the opioid epidemic... because what we have been doing isn’t working.
At the end of the day what Heath says is absolutely spot on and the bloke is woke BIG time. What he says makes you realise u live in comfort, and it’s best to always have a backup plan always.
hiii! late but just know it won't. you are safe and just know that things won't ever get to that point. Try affirming yourself so you can feel calm and safe. Sending love! 💕💕
Love them but I could not stand to hear them rant about how their job is harder than any other 9 to 5. If you would take a traditional job over a social media job, than what's stopping you?? Why haven't you done that yet?
It's also their passion. A 9-5 may be easier, but not as fulfilling to them. Your also taking what they said out of context. Their saying this because it is a routine, you know what to expect day to day, while being an influencer is unpredictable, you wake up each day and it's something new. Also as an influencer, it's like being the buisiness owner. You start out doing everything on your own, then you can choose to have a team who takes some of the load off your shoulders, however all responsibilities fall on you, even what your team does. On the contrary being a member of the team, you only have specific parts that your responsible for. If it fails, the owners livelyhood is in jeapordy, however the team can just go work for someone else. They are not trying to disrespect 9-5 jobs, they are just saying they have their lighter aspects.

decriminalize isn’t the same as legalize. decriminalizing these drugs isn’t saying you can go out and do them without consequences. it’s the same thing as before but instead, if you get caught with it, you won’t go to jail/prison and become a criminal for it. instead, you’ll go to rehab. so rather than throwing an addict in jail and cause them to withdrawal and think they’ll learn their lesson that way, they’ll get the help they need.

i’m from oregon and it’s not completely like you can just do whatever drug you want you’ll still get fined but you just won’t get any prison or jail time and you’ll get rehab and help instead
On the decriminalization of drugs, they’re replacing the old way of locking people up for using those drugs with rehabilitation. So this way it’ll actually help addicts

Jail doesn’t do what rehab would for those with addictions so decriminalizing drugs gives them a chance to actually get better and go to rehab and try to break the addiction!!

Now is corona but tomorrow can be anything, so if the world "ends" I guess we'll just have to take it somehow, I mean, we can't hope to be in control in the apocalypse haha the definition speaks for itself in the sense that is chaos, so how can you control chaos
Exactly. We can't control what's gonna come since it's uncertain. Just what you said, it's unpredictable so you just have to take it easy, else anxiety will overwhelm you and might even make you paranoid

Some constructive criticism for the podcast is, you need to have someone doing actual research whenever you start discussing topics that can be one click away to know about, there were a lot of topics in this podcast that you guys could've just googled and not misspoke about said topics. It's hard to watch and listen to you guys talk about things that are wrong and most of your viewers begin to correct you in the comments. So again, have someone just research really quick, Joe Rogan does this, he has Jamie and always tells him to search this up if it's true or if he wants to know more about something.
It's finally getting noticed how they just throw misinformation around. I started to notice it after Matt left. They just seem uneducated on a lot of topics.

Mariah is going to be such a good mom. I feel like she’ll be so much fun, chill, but still super protective
Very well said thanks for sharing your insight 🤍
eh
@@juliastinson2049 that was unnecessary❤️
Not me having a anxiety attack over them talking about the world ending and getting bad , and stressing about how I have zero food in my house 😅😅😅
It’s okay gurl it’s Heath he’s that type of person to always be ready even when there’s no sight of bad things😭
Like Mariah said she’s okay cuz we’re all gonna go through this together BUT nothings going to happen
At the end of the day what Heath says is absolutely spot on and the bloke is woke BIG time. What he says makes you realise u live in comfort, and it’s best to always have a backup plan always.
eh, i’ll accept death if it comes my way 😀
hiii! late but just know it won't. you are safe and just know that things won't ever get to that point. Try affirming yourself so you can feel calm and safe. Sending love! 💕💕
When Mariah said "did you watch the stass episode" I FKING SCREAMED HAHAHA
I thought I was the only one lmaooooo
Love them but I could not stand to hear them rant about how their job is harder than any other 9 to 5. If you would take a traditional job over a social media job, than what's stopping you?? Why haven't you done that yet?
Because it is not paid as well as their influencer job. They even said so themselves. It's about money.
1:00:26 im rewatching the podcast from the beginning and omg i cant believe they talked about jordan before, its crazy how we now have the full story first hand from jordan now that he’s been a part of the podcast
At 56:53 Mariah’s smile when Heath says “very good bubba” is the cutest fucking thing. I love them both so much.
I’m at the part where they’re talking about how they feel about the podcast from the beginning until now, and just wanted to let y’all know, I think you’re doing a great job. I’ve watched since day one and i keep coming back. Just be yourselves. I love it.
Heath and Zane have never really been known for doing their research lol
Mariah looks ESPECIALLY happy in this episode and it makes my heart melt🥺 she’s GLOWING!!

Same, I thought they got celeb as guest, but confused as to why MGK would go on their podcast
Courteney Cox wasn't randomly discovered at a Bruce Springsteen concert. She was cast for a part in his music video for Dancing in the Dark during a concert and she danced onstage- it was staged not a real concert moment
It was a real concern tho, my mom was there. But yes it was a planned music video and a real concert too
@@aubreykaye7092 you're right, my apologies for the wording
They decriminalized it because its a health issue, not a criminal one
Yes, addiction is a disease. Not a crime. They need help and therapy. Not a jail cell.
I didn’t think of that but very true.
thts what ppl don’t understand it’s not like their saying “fuck it do what u want” no instead of u going to jail they send u to a facility to receive help Nd get clean

I feel like how they see their jobs is like how teachers work. Your life is your job. You are thinking about ideas all of the time and you have really high expectations for yourself. It’s a lot, but at least for you guys if it does well you can make some really decent money at it! Well deserved! (Teachers don’t have that same luxury) but I totally see what you guys are saying and understand the feeling!
When Mariah was like 'remember our theme song', I, too, was like....girl what are you talking about? Lmao, I thought she was referring to Heath personally or something.
decriminalize isn’t the same as legalize. decriminalizing these drugs isn’t saying you can go out and do them without consequences. it’s the same thing as before but instead, if you get caught with it, you won’t go to jail/prison and become a criminal for it. instead, you’ll go to rehab. so rather than throwing an addict in jail and cause them to withdrawal and think they’ll learn their lesson that way, they’ll get the help they need.
Educate them finally
also you can only have a certain amount on you
at what point do they talk about it in the episode? bc I’m curious lol

Yes! I’d love to see Kenny and Matt together !
Zane: "just because it happens in the movie, doesnt mean its fiction"
Matt: you mean Fact zane.
I think he meant fiction because he was trying to get into Heaths mindset so he was saying just because it happens in movies it doesn’t mean that the situation can’t happen. I think that’s what he was trying to say when he said fiction.
They said "call child support" YOU MEAN CPS?! lmaoooooooo
Zane getting excited over Mariah's stories is so wholesome, I love all four of them together ^_^
Everyone’s talking about Oregon and I’m here wondering what brand was the stroller....
Portugal had extremely high numbers of heroin addicts, homelessness, etc... until they decriminalised hard drugs. They invested the money saved on policing it into rehabilitation, safe environments for users to use, clean needles and ultimately have decreased their drug users, incarcerated rate and homelessness.
what you guys were saying about how people don't take people who have social media as a job seriously is so relatable, as a film student i get so much shit. Always saying 'oh film? that's easy! what do you do watch films all day? that's not even a real course' meanwhile im here thinking about ideas for scripts ans short films for my assignments all the time and analysing so many details in films for my essays. Here’s the thing: people are going to do it regardless. Give resources for addiction and educate on drugs and addiction (not in a scary way) in schools.

Not that it matters, but the picture of 'Pamela Anderson' you put up, is actually a picture of Axelle Despiegelaere, a Belgian (now ex-)model who got discovered while being at a World Cup Soccer game supporting her country (you can literally see her wearing the Belgian colors in the pic you inserted) 😂
Those drugs are not legal it just means they won’t be sent to prison, they can go to rehab instead
Jail doesn’t do what rehab would for those with addictions so decriminalizing drugs gives them a chance to actually get better and go to rehab and try to break the addiction!!
exactly its about harm reduction i had to skip that part because how ignorant it was
So they still haven't released their coffee yet? I mean I don't drink coffee but i might change my mind, I'm pretty hyped about it
I'm also soo hyped about it
@426ZZZZ that’s one of the reasons why I stopped drinking coffee, the anxiety and panic attacks started for the first time ever from drinking coffee. I was extremely lucky to never suffer from those but only when I had coffee I experienced it and for me it was extremely scary as it was an onset I’ve never experienced before and it was something I couldn’t gain control over! I... being an established UA-camr isn’t harder than a “normal” job. You have the certainty of money, brand deals, freedom to work whenever you want. People pleasing is hard- yeah. But.... not as hard or stressful as a normal job. Especially when a lot of the time you guys are getting paid someone’s yearly salary for a few brand deals. That was extremely out of touch to say lol.
Omg glad someone agrees
i feel like you still have to put the same effort as a normal job but u get paid way more. i don’t know much about them but there are youtubers i watch that put so much time and effort in a video and its clear how they work hard but in the end they get paid more than a regular 9-5
Well I get where you are coming from, but they are well known so it’s different. Don’t you think?
they are human too u know they have feelings and react to things as well... just because they make more money doesnt mean they dont face stressful situations u know what i mean idk
not saying that they have it so hard cause they def have it way easier then the rest of us but i mean its normal to feel certain emotions

Decriminalization is what it’s all about. 🙌🏼Getting those people out of jail and spending that tax money on recovery hopefully 🤞🏼
Im worried about zane sometimes 😂 "mdma is more healthy" "its from the earth" lmfao no zane. its not from plants its actually synthesized from chemicals but it is safer than speed, meth, and opiates which is usually whats in ecstacy nowadays. MDEA and MDA is what ecstacy used to have in em back in the 80s, 90s
I feel like sometimes they talk like Covid was a thing as if it still wasn't a thing. Be careful guys, love you!
Zane is just ✨main character energy ✨
*Those drugs were not legalized they were DECRIMINALIZED lol*
Oh baby... Heath I hope you're reading this cause you said you read the comments but I live in OR and we just passed Measure 109 which is allowing the MEDICAL distribution/prescription trials for mushroom therapy. We also decriminalized hard drugs in the effort to use social services like rehab rather than putting drug users in jail. Hope this helps anyone who was confused! Oregon is super lit for our measures that we just passed tho lol. Love the juice & the funny y'all!!!
I love this comment! some of the others I've read seemed condescending and made me feel really stupid for not understanding.❤❤
@@Ka_iley yeah!! People can be so toxic on UA-cam and like...for what? Decriminalization often gets confused with legalization, as I used to mistake the two for each other ALL the time! It’s all love❤️
How do you guys feel about mainstream actors treading on "your" territory and now making YT vids when it seemed to have been looked down upon for so long? Not necessarily those particular actors, but in general, as you kind of mentioned. Does it seem hypocritical or more like cool, now you see why we felt the need to defended ourselves because of the work involved?
good question
i hope youtubers are a bit pissed about it- i know i am I refuse to watch 'real actors' I stick to you tubers I like because i want full choice on what/who i watch
Don't want this to come off a as rude, I get that the podcast is called unfiltered but I think there's a difference between being able to express urself and misinforming your audience on a pretty dense topic :( Your comment section shouldn't be responsible for clarifying that what ya'll are saying is wrong, just a thought
Which topic?
How do I like this ten times! Because this is literally what I’m thinking, our great demise will be misinforming people and fear mongering.
@@lor962 The whole section on the decriminalization of drugs. They haven't made drugs legal, it just means the people charged won’t be sent to jail and can go to rehab instead to get the help they need :)
Decriminalization actually has been shown to decrease drug use over time.
Zane: Yeah a lot of people don’t take social media stars seriously
Liza: Interviews Joe Biden
Exactly, that proves his point.
It sounds to me that Heath has a little bit of anxiety, you will never be fully prepared for the things life presents.
I always forget that Mariah can sing and then she does that and I’m like “who decided she got to be so talented wtf”
I know this is kinda irrelevant but $700 is 28% of $2500 and Heath guessed 25% I’m actually impressed he got so close doing that math in his head. We stan a mathematician.
When u guys talked about how Heath almost shot Kenny all I could think was
" OMG they killed Kenny, you bastards!! "
Matt would have been fact checking...
It's finally getting noticed how they just throw misinformation around. I started to notice it after Matt left. They just seem uneducated on a lot of topics.
yes it’s been pretty noticeable since matt left :/
Joe Rogan should not be your reference for a "well educated" podcast. He poses incredible bias and even contradicts himself across episodes. Laugh a little, yeah?
then dont watch LMAO. they said it so many times before that there podcast is messy but thats what makes it funny at least to some of us
