Hadn’t heard this song in a decade… Was at the hospital today waiting for my Mom after surgery and a man was playing something bouncy and familiar on the piano in the food lounge… He got up and promptly left into the elevator afterwards, now showing his scrubs once veiled behind the piano. After the doors closed, I realized instantly that it was this song. I really wanted to tell him how awesome his playing was and that I appreciated the nostalgia of a less stressful time. Since I didn’t in person, I want to say it here at least: Thank you! (And you are amazing!)
A lot of people think the HD version still doesn’t look good but I love how the game looks like a painting in certain aspects. Really beautiful art style
Faron Woods. By far the best designed and realized 3D forest in a Zelda game. There are actual 3D trees, and you can easily get lost. None of the forest areas in previous 3D Zelda games even compare. Only the Twilight Princess version comes somewhat close.
was abt to say something about breath of the wild's visuals and wtf are u talking about but then,, i noticed this comment was posted a long time before botw was a thing
@@alexandraleduc8662 honestly I think Faron Woods is FAR better than any of BOTWs forests - apart from a few mushrooms and some of those cute little Korok guys they are just empty
Why do people dislike skyward sword, I have played nearly all of the zelda games and skyward sword is just as good as the others, Controls maybe little off buts thats all. THE MUSIC IN THIS GAME IS PERFECT
And the controls aren't even that bad either! (Although it can depend on the wii remote you're using. Mine have had a history of refusing to cooperate with the nunchucks, and some can freeze without warning, but overall they are OK! Especially if you use a motion 2 in 1)
honestly that's the only real reason people dislike this game, this is my favorite zelda game tbh I feel like it doesn't get enough recognition for how good it is
What I didn't like about the controls is that they were very reminiscent of Twilight Princess... enough to be confusing. Because in Twilight Princess you use items with B and stow them with A and in Skyward Sword you pull them out with B, use them with A and stow them with B again. Believe me, if you follow one directly with the other, you will fumble the controls A LOT. But I also have to point out the one thing that for me was the best thing about Skyward Sword: The Beetle. All you Skyward Sword haters, just you try and argue that that little RC Beetle wasn't IMMENSELY cool.
Kikwis were my favorite characters in the game, especially the big Kikwi guy. * puts leaf tail over a quarter of his body and you spot him * "How did you find me?"
It's incredible seeing all those old comments taking about Twilight Princess faron woods. Today SS faron woods theme is far more popular. I personally love both and I think each is perfect for what they have to do (TP's theme being more dark and mysterious and SS's theme being more light-hearted and adventurous).
I think botw lost too many Zelda aspects that made the franchise what it is. Still good, but I prefer big and mysterious dungeons over what we got in botw
@@the_Acaman it will be an awesome game I have no doubts but it will still be an open world game. I just felt that botw was so big it felt a bit empty at times and that’s where it lost the Zelda feel
@@m1k3yb98 The empty feeling was a part of the BOTW experience, though, due to it taking place right after an apocalypse. Like you said, though, it lacked in some aspects at times, though. @@alanbasoria5265 yeah, the game is super nostalgic for me as well--the art design, atmosphere, and music are almost perfect, and it's definitely one of the most underrated in the series. Not getting my hopes too high or anything, but it would be awesome!
TotK was in need of Music to differentiate itself from BotW. Since Hyrule is mostly safer now from the Great Calamity, music like this would be much more fitting than in BotW. Grab some Headphones and just walk around areas with this music playing and you'll see what I mean.
I think Nintendo is probably the best in the industry at utilizing music to set a tone or a mood for areas in games. They have some really talented composers
@LordKajimaru the only reason the creator changed the game was because he didn't want it to be the same as all the other games he thought it would be great to have a village in the sky. Or riding on giant birds getting ready to save the world ya and if you didn't like it thats not my problem because I thought it was AMAZING
for some reason i cant hear the sound of kikwis or the peaceful music because the sound of bokoblins trying to mob me always gets in the way D: gosh those things sound like angry birds >.>
@TheTriUT Lots of people think that because some gaming websites (Kotaku and Joystiq) "confirmed" that the music was 100% orchestrated. However before that nintendo said that the entire game isnt completely orchestrated and that they were going to use MIDI where they felt it would suit the game.
@davitale2 and @Stickmaleboy Well, firstly, there seems to be a misunderstanding that Skyward's soundtrack is fully orchestrated. That isn't true, and Nintendo has confirmed that a minority of the songs are played with real instruments. Secondly, I have listened to -a lot- of synthesized game music over the years, as well as -a lot- of music played with an real orchestra or classical instruments. Believe me, this is a 100% synthesized song. Listen to the pizzicato. Or TP's soundtrack.

I completely agree, this kind of music is missing from TOTK, which has calmer music

Not fair to compare both games. They share the Zelda name but are ENTIRELY different. Like comparing Mario 1 and Mario 2.
