I love that *closed the fridge* is a phrase people can use thanks to Stephan & Friends. Its like a "Well okay then" but instead of using it when you're confused and don't know where to go, its used when you know where something is going and you need to stop it now before it can get there.
as an Arizonan I can confirm, there is in fact a swamp between Tucson and Phoenix that happens to magically shift trucks into BMWs. Don't ask me why, I don't know. I just own an avocado toast house.
@@Hadaron wrong, he was in an episode like a year or two ago. in fact here’s a link to the last one emile was in ua-cam.com/video/IyfMkz2MMdo/v-deo.html
19:26 Mal just reading it, thinking "nope" and just saying "That" before moving on has me howling with laughter! Thank you Mallory for being such an amazing and funny person who can roll with the punches and make things better!
Not gonna lie: I saw the beginning of the first book and was immediately hoping that Tom Fawkes would turn the whole thing into a book about Homestar Runner. Then I was disappointed to realize that he wasn't even in this episode. In retrospect, Dan totally could've done it, too, but alas, Stephen wasn't having any of it.
Has anyone noticed that the Broken Phone vids are numbered by the amount of broken smartphones there are in the thumbnails for each vid? Like, the first Broken Phone vid had one phone in the thumbnail, the second had two, and now this one has three. It’s a nice touch that I only now just figured out
I was having a real (mentally) exhausting night, and seeing the title alone in my notifications made me smile and excited to watch tomorrow. Love this series and all that these people do.
Animate? Give me enough time and I could (sadly) find you a live-action example of that with the only details off being the dialogue not being exactly as written, and the beer being a Coors.
Can we get 10 animators with 10 different styles to animate some of these stories. I think it would be cool seeing the different styles for each person’s part of the story.
I have to suggest this as a Memorable Moment as it's a perfect representation of what Broken Phone is: (13:01-14:53) -- "Every sentence is a plot twist."
I suggest a variation on this theme: you start with someone drawing an image, and then every person thereafter has to tell a story based on what the image was.
Theme idea for the story mode: quotes from video games out of context. You take a line from a video game- or if you wanna get creative, describe a scene from a game- without the context of the line/scene and use it as your starting point.
Right off the bat, in the first book, Stephen in no uncertain terms, *closed the fridge.*
It's a shame. I briefly hoped that Tom (had he been in this episode) or Dan would turn it into a book about Homestar Runner.

I want to make the phrase "closed the fridge" a running gag within the stephencrew or whatever its actual more commonly-accepted name is

Glad to see Emile participating in Broken Picturephone again!
I don’t think Emile’s ever participated in Broken Phone before, actually
@@Hadaron I realize that. I just meant I’m glad to see him participate with Stephen and Friends again. I should have been more specific 😅

I'm glad that closing the fridge is not only a running joke, but the best way to either end or change the story at hand for them.
I can't believe the bazaar was behind... Truly the greatest plot twist in the episode

They gonna run out of room soon
wow this is the longest running April Fool's joke of all time :P
Love the episode but if doing broken phone becomes a main stay maby consider making it scroll down instead of up for easy of reading
I was having a real (mentally) exhausting night, and seeing the title alone in my notifications made me smile and excited to watch tomorrow. Love this series and all that these people do.
Is it just me, or does Alex's Pikachu voice sound vaguely like a mix of Yoda, and Elmo from Sesame Street?
I'm so glad you turned that story into the Mother 'The Baby is a Demon Child!' story
That's enough internet for today.
I need someone to animate Stephen's story of the drive to Phoenix
Animate? Give me enough time and I could (sadly) find you a live-action example of that with the only details off being the dialogue not being exactly as written, and the beer being a Coors.
Seeing that Tom isn’t here: :(
Realizing that Emile’s here: :D
Dark Lord Pikachu was incredible
"The bazaar was ahead" is my favorite running joke ever.
I like the thought of the twist of "everyone was a walrus" comes to light and then the Borne ending song starts.
I wish I had skills as an animator. I would love to animate all the Broken Phone books
Dear god i cant wait for the animators to start showing up
i haven't watched it in full yet but i already want if at all possible Tom Fawkes and Chugga together for another Broke Phone episode
Thomas’ book reads like a fever dream.
Second book in and holy shit Alex went and Alex'd it up. Good lord, Alex keeps doing it, doesn't he.
i feel bad for not knowing what the "Ness closed the dresser drawer" thing is referring to 😔
Out of all of the books, I want the Reginald book to be animated simply to see it.
That internet kink one was a trip, as were most of them.
These are the best.
oh hey emiles back in broken (picture)phone
Huh, I didn’t even notice the lack of music until you pointed it out at the end
I’m working night shift in a place where people sleep and Emile almost had me laughing too loud. This episode is amazing.
Stephen woke up today and chose violence
So glad y'all are doing more broken phone! Y'all are just so creative and hilarious😂
Dan tried to close the fridge, but it was too late.
That story with the 40 tons of litter took a hard turn into some sort of fetish corner.
The ending of that book was SO good. I was caught off guard in a way I didn't....waaaaiiiiit...!
This is a tame opening for an Alex book.

I'd love to see a TRG brokenpicture phone episode at some point or broken picturephone featuring as a segment in colosseum or something
Now we just need a drawn of dark lord pikachu!!
I really want Alex reading as Pikachu to be a memorable moment: 25:58-26:26
We need more Chugga in these videos in general. We don't have enough of him in these.
I suggest a variation on this theme: you start with someone drawing an image, and then every person thereafter has to tell a story based on what the image was.
Stephen chose violence today.
Man, now I really want a Baby Wario game...
I mean Yoshi's Island DS is about as close as we can get.
Baby Wario 2 stinks!
And that's why we love it.
I honestly love how I'm watching today's episode of Broken Picture Phone on my Broken Phone that STILL shows Pictures🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣#Coincidence?IThinkNot
Knowing Stephen watches vinesauce or has at one point completes me.
Do you see Banana Man, hopping over on de white hot sand?

...Why isn't this variant of the game called _Broken Phonebook?_
Closing the fridge won’t save you from Walrus, apparently
We are gathered here to day to celebrate the life of a good man, a banana man.
I see you, Stephen. I see you with that Eminem reference in that last book.
yall really said what if we 'closed the fridge' for each book and we love to see the legacy emmy has started :'0)

I love Broken Phone
Less than a minute in and Hayley has me in tears. This is gonna be good.
No music makes this sound weird...
Who else thought the Luke Skywalker book was gonna lead into Dark Lord Pikachu?
He did have electricity huh, now we need Star Wars x Pokemon.
Mal, are you rooting for your home state Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA Finals? Game 5 is tonight!
Meanwhile I'm in Az
We need a sequel to dan’s book
So I just noticed that on the thumbnail the phone's are always Android phone's
Stephens Eminem reference on Thomas's book
am I the only one who caught that?.... I cant be the only one
This was amazing
Let’s go!
The fact that Emile isn’t labeled as a special guest implies she’s probably gonna be a regular now. Man,
I really hope that’s the case.
Emile is known as Chuggaconroy and He's a guy
