- Hi guys! Today I'm testing out a new software called Shapespark. It's a realtime rendering software that lets you view your renderings on a browser. Let me know what you think!

Prima & exciting presentation, Thanks! - how did you make that flight into the room at 5:48? You are outside your scene and can look into your room, then you fly in and the ceiling is there suddenly? sorcery !! ;-))
Oh you can choose the top view, and just hide the ceiling. That way it will automatically hides it when you change the view😄

+Moncef Khechai there is no function to render still images at this moment so you can only screenshot the view. 🙁 It's best for rendering the whole scene and uploading it to the internet

Yes definitely! You can just bring your whole model in there. There are a lot of examples on shapespark website that has multiple rooms
when i importing the model to shapespark, some wall and object are missing😢

This is a little bit off topic but is there a way to render a floor plan in sketch up to scale? Instead of exporting a dwg and doing some photoshop I wanted to set up a view and render straight from vray to scale. Thanks in advance!
+Halil Ahmed yes you can do it! Just use a section cut from top down then place a camera looking downward, make sure to turn on parallel projection for a 2D style render. Then you can fix it up a bit in photoshop 😄

hi, I am Mayuran Samraj( Architect) using Vray for rendering my doubt is can I have both Vray as well as shapespark install to one version of Sketchup. Can I have both of them at the same time?

Can we design the room of our own choice in free trial? I mean can we add things, walls, etc according to my need?
Hi Monty, Shapespark software is used to render the model and to make the online walkthrough. The 3D model needs to be created in another software, e.g. SketchUp, 3ds Max, or Revit.

Hey@@blurblur, unfortunately, we don't have a Mac version. Some users are running Shapespark with Parallels, so you could try this if you have Parallels.
How do we know that whether shapespark is running in the background....What do we do ?
I have a low end PC and I'm looking for a render software that is light and can work on low end PC well
i think lumion is much more successful in realtime render but is there any different properties that shapespark has and lumion doesn't?
+yigit erkoc Definitely lumion has a lott more to offer, but it's also a lot more expensive. I guess this is more for individuals or smaller companies with a lower budget 😊 I think what's cool about shapespark is that you can send the final render to a client as easy as sending a link and they can walk around the model on a web browser, it's super convenient. They don't even need good specs on their computer, they can even view it on their mobile devices 😄😄

vray with sketch is great,,,,,,,,, so please make a tutorial for that,,coz i hope a lot of other poeple would also be looking for that as their is no video tutorial for that on youtube,, anyways,, thnx a lot bro (y)
If im not mistaken.. the way it work is you need to upload the whole project file into their server ( you need to pay for this ). Im scare if it will work even without internet connection. If so... then this is useless.. better use UE4 which everything on your pc/laptop and no need internet connection when you are outdoor. Correct me if im wrong.
Nope, the uploading part is to make it easier to share to clients. Otherwise you can easily experience the model on your own computer. The internet part is for sharing

Hm I'm not sure if there's actually a way to export a 2D rendered image, this software is more like virtual reality where it give you a link to walk around and see the whole scene

Shame if that's not possible, it would be a very simple thing to implement on their part wouldn't it.
what about materials of curtains and rugs and other stuff which is not glass?
+Pallavi Daga for curtains you would reduce the opacity but keep the roughness as 1 because it's not supposed to be reflective. For rugs, I think you can add a bump map to make it have a fabric texture 😄

Can you explain 'emissive', the layman hears 'something which emits light'... But that doesn't really seem to make sense when it comes to a metallic material!! :-p
+SkillipEvolver hm I'm not quite sure of your question but emisssive material is just a material that emits light, it wouldn't be metallic or even reflection I don't think 🤔

So you get a trial with this... But what's the paid-for part?
+SkillipEvolver hm I believe it's the same, it's just that when the trial ends, you can't use it anymore, just like vray or other softwares
Architecture Inspirations until you pay... So depending how much will influence the decision ..
The reality is.... Probably a lot of this real time rendering tech comes from the Unreal engine. This stuff is dedicated towards SketchUp and/or other modeling programs.
+SkillipEvolver Hm probably, I'd love to learn a good workflow for sketchup and Unreal Engine, thatd be so cool for archviz, I know some people are using it but have no idea what the workflow is 😂

+Patel Hashir Faraz kind of, enscape can do animations but this one can't. But shapespark material is easier to edit and it's pretty straightforward. These two softwares can definitely learn from each other and it'll be perfect😂😂

Enscape is for desktop presentations, shapespark allows to upload results, view in web browsers and embed in web sites.
That is the Perfect way to put it!
Architecture Inspirations very cool that we can show high quality renderings in the web browser. I tried Escape recently and the key difference being of course, that enscape works by running the model in 'installed desktop software' rather than in a browser.

+tristan dinglasan this software is pretty well optimized so it should be smooth for you as well. They have some demos on the website that you can try out to see if you like it. As for specs, I have mine in the description box if you wanna see what I have 😄

I will NEVER understand these software devs. Hey lets make a plugin FOR SKETCHUP.. Then make ALL the camera controls the complete opposite of sketchup.
