Hey silly, if you put trap doors on the bottom hovering blocks from your mob farm, then you can still stab through it but creepers can't see you enough to explode.
Put your campfire down a level and place a trap door on top of the bonfire, so you don't burn your bees as they poke around their hive.

Helpful tip - crops grow faster when you alternate their rows. For instance, instead of wheat wheat wheat do wheat carrots potato. They will grow faster as it is a game mechanic. Also, if you place your trees next to a flower, it will have a chance to grow with a bee nest. If you place a slab of any material on top of that flower, your oaks will grow into the big oaks, giving you more wood.

@@andrewpropst1071 oh I have tons, especially for one block. For instance, he didn't mention why, but if you notice Skyes is building his floors on the lower slab instead of the top. That's because mobs won't spawn on the lower slab. Boats are fantastic for mob control until you've got pens/space and placing one down by the wander trader's llamas will render their leads without having to kill any of them and they'll just despawn when the trader does. I could go on forever lol

I noticed your mob farm slowed down a lot. I believe its because you didn't spider proof it. If you go to the top theirs probably tons of spiders blocking the drop shoot. Hopefully you see this. If it even helps lol. Awesome video!

Great vid, couple of ideas for the Iron Farm:
- Give the zombie a block instead of a name tag to stop it despawning
- Could you fish for a name tag?
- Use campfires if you don't have lava (altho this would be a slower ttk)
- Make spawning platform like 25 blocks above golem killing pit because if iron golem is over 16 blocks away from the villagers, they can continue to spawn more. Therefore the slower ttk won't matter as much.
i didnt mind this it was pretty good maybe an even more modded minecraft for 50 hour next

Tip for the name tag on the zombie thing for next time: If you’re using a spawn egg, name the egg using an anvil and the mob you spawn with the egg *should* spawn with the name of the egg. (Unless it’s changed since the last time I checked)

I could tell his videos do stand out from the rest of the youtubers who do the same kind of content. Hey Skyes! Great video, as always! I would like to suggest that if you are going to fill out a big plot of land with multiplied dirt, don't bother placing the coarse dirt, tilling it, then breaking it and placing the dirt again. Just place the coarse dirt where you want regular dirt to be, then till it when you are done filling it in. (It obviously doesn't pertain to dirt that you keep around to multiply dirt with)

I personally enjoy the full explanation thing, I'm not 100% caught up on all of the new animals (Relatively speaking) as I didn't really play much since the aquatic update and we're quite a ways away from that update at this point. The explanations would help me when I start finally getting into the custom maps like one block skyblock and other versions of skyblock.
love love love! I know I would absolutely love to see more of these! perhaps a flat world, one chunk but the border expands every hour, better minecraft, regular hardcore with qol mods (lumberjack, bottany pots, easy villagers (highly recommend), etc), or another skyblock modpack like sky bees!

To answer one of your questions yes I really enjoy watching you be organized and explain how you do things. It makes my brain happy.
Skyes casually ignores the fact that you can plant bamboo on sand, gravel, coarse dirt, and even podzol. Build a spruce tree farm + moss farm and boom, easy dirt farm dude. It doesn't have to even be a farm, you can just manually grow the giant spruces too.
Then he goes on to forget they won't despawn if you give them an item... in the iron farm, and goes on to try and get a nametag...

Quick tip, you are able to purchase glass from your librarians, so you dont have to mix panes and glass blocks and have to create a bee farm that looks like that!!!! 😁additionally, you can just add the poppies from your iron farm to the bee farm!!!!!

If you use 2 dirt and 2 gravel you can make 4 coarse dirt. And if you right click it it becomes normal dirt.

Tip for Situations like at 57:15 - if you right click on Villagers while a bit away, they will always walk towards you, so you can always open trade, cancel trade, open trade, cancel trade to make them walk the way you want them to.

To prevent mobs from spawning in your tree farm you can use torches, if the amount of light in an area is high enough, mobs won't be able to spawn there

He died at 1:25:25 ... The jumpcut made it obvious. Also, his exp changed too much, AND going frame by frame there was no single block he could have used to jump out. Unfortunately he died, but didn't want to end the video - which I don't blame him whatsoever. But until I see a live video of him logging into this world with his stat screen open on the killed by [mob] x times then unfortunately the videos entertainment loses luster
I mean he coulda just edited that whole segment out so you wouldn't question it. So I doubt he actually died.
his levels went from 19 to 20 so I doubt he died. and he could have broke a block to get out. plus he seem cool enough to jus let us know he died if he did and jus tell us we hasn't ready to end the movie. but either way, I don't think he died

You should have melted the ice and got water buckets. Raised platforms will do what you need that way. stack stuff on top of stuff if you prefer thus allowing for layers rather then distance.
Nice video as usual. You dont just need a name tag for an iron farm, just get a zombie to pick up something you throw at them.
You can bonemeal flowers and it'll just grow more of the same flower without the grass :)
