Yeah, solid list here... The Mikaelson family (TVD/Originals) in general are borderline unstoppable in; one would have to know about their oddly specific weakness to white oak stakes to even have a chance at stopping them permanently....and even then, it's not like there's a lot of that material left in the world. In the beginning, they did the smart thing and burned that tree to the ground, trying to eliminate their 1 significant weakness from the equation entirely.

He became later an INVICIBLE vampire. They only could change him back with a unique spell and bla bla bla..
But except of that, you cant do anything and also his bite is an 100% kill. He can walk in sunlight,
you cannot harm him in anyway, ect, only 1 weakness was this 1 very, very hard to accomplish spell.
But yeah they managed to beat him but only because of PLOT !!! Lucien from Vampire Diaries deserves the first spot !!!

So no matter how strong Hope is, she cannot kill Marcellus or Lucien if he would be still alive. But they can kill her with a single bite !!!

On a side note, I do hope that Cogan Lollins also considers some newer shows as part of the list by making it longer, since a more recent vampire anime called "The Case Study of Vanitas" also has pretty unique and powerful vampires, mostly due to their abilities being explicitly magical, like the Beast of Gervaudan, Noé's teacher, and the vampires of the Blue and Red Moons.

Yeah, Alucard from Hellsing comes to mind right away as he can seemingly do anything, and is nearly impossible to destroy. I enjoy how ridiculously OP that character is. Then there's Dio from the JoJo franchise who is also on that "god level" of crazy powers, including a "stand" ability to stop time itself.

Classic Doctor Who had a race of vampires that were so gigantic that they ate entire PLANETS and to stake them through the heart you had to ram them with a spear-shaped spaceship. It took the Time Lords (a race that, as the name implies, control time and space itself) to get rid of them with effort, and even then at least one survived.

The script actually says that "the Master is as old as any Vampire on record". Meaning that they don't actually know his age. But Joss Wheaden made it clear that the Master is "far" older than 600 years old. They ditched the 600 hundred year old number when Darla was revealed to be 400 herself.

I believe he was older but in a 1 on 1 fight... Heinrich (Master) would have bested him almost instantly. The Master was turned by a direct vampiric descendant of an Old One (original demon). Making his bloodline far superior to any other. Which, explains Angel and Spike's superiority to other vampires as well... even if they are older vampires.

The Master's bloodline had some mystical qualities to it, which to the best of my knowledge Kakistos does not. Alot of the Master's spawn were gifted with destinies. Spike, Angel, Darla, Drucilla...all had important roles.

You DO realize that the master The Strain tv series wasn't killed by having a roof dropped on him right? The bomb they set of was a NUCLEAR WARHEAD that they set off as deep underground as possible because the fight happened in NY city. They were trying to contain the nuclear blast underground to spare the city, not bury the master under ruble. In both book and tv show the master dies by nuking.

Most powerful vampire in a tv series would be Dracula From penny dreadful.
He was an Arch-angel that fought in heavens rebellion, and was Cast out of Heaven. Dracula is also the Twin Brother of Lucifer...even lucifer himself feared Dracula. Dracula goes by many names, but the ancient name is "Amun-Ra". Originally, Amun-Ra was known as Ra who was recognized as the Sun God...until he fell from God's grace.
It's stated that his true form is 100% unkillable.
2nd most powerful would be Lestat from the new "interview with a vampire" series. His strength is ridiculously overpowered, Lestat WALKS so fast that his victims run in slow motion, he can fly, can mind control numerous people in a room, use telekinesis and even stop/slow down time itself. There's only been 7 episodes so far and lestat is only 150+ years old.
3rd would be Bilith, followed by dracula from the van helsing series, and then "the master" from the strain.
*Honourable Mention* : Simon Lewis (with the mark of caine) from "shadow hunters". The mark of caine in itself is so overpowered. Whatever you do to Lewis, the mark inflicts it back 7 fold. Lilith, the Queen of hell, hit Lewis so hard....that the mark sent her back to hell.

We don’t get to see a ton in terms of demonstrations of strength from the Penny Dreadful Dracula. We do get to see him punch a fledgling vampire across the room, but there’s not much beyond that. He also seems to fear werewolves as he even stated that the only one from the core group that he was concerned about was Ethan, who was a werewolf and he avoided any head on confrontations with Ethan while he was in werewolf form. And even on the show, the werewolves kind of pale in comparison to some of their movie counterparts like Van Helsing and the Underworld series. For these reasons, he kinda loses some points at least in his vampire form.

@@windowsVD I do agree that Dracula never got to show his true potential. The main reason why all confrontation with Ethan was avoided was due to him possessing bodies that could still die. But again, his true form was stated to be unkillable.
Ethans strength even as a werewolf pales in comparison to the elder vampire in the very first penny dreadful episode. I'd imagine Dracula is MANY leagues above that not only being the progenitor of vampires...But an arch-angel.

I really look forward to the animated series, Alucard is going to be on it I'm sure, Not to mention Dracula from the Castlevania series (likely a bit higher though). not a fan of the nr. 1 spot, I think that hybridization take away from the character and kinda disqualifies them from Vampirehood in a way. Now if she'd consumed the strength of the other creatures and added it to her own, that'd be awesome and it'd underscore her abilities. Most of the others are still vampires, but have either aged up or upgraded with magic, so it at least feel earned.

Forever Knight in third season had the daughter of Nick's master return from death. She came around and started killing other vampires with her claws. Interesting power level, I would say. Sadly, she was only one episode, and for some reason, Nick survived her scratches. Thereby, being able to surprise attack her later, and they burned her body after. Sadly, like I said, not a lot of info, but I always thought her as wickedly powerful, especially with other vampires fearing her.

He became later an INVICIBLE vampire. They only could change him back with a unique spell and bla bla bla..
But except of that, you cant do anything and also his bite is an 100% kill. He can walk in sunlight,
you cannot harm him in anyway, ect, only 1 weakness was this 1 very, very hard to accomplish spell.
But yeah they managed to beat him but only because of PLOT !!! Lucien from Vampire Diaries deserves the first spot !!!

I watched seasons one through 3.
Many times actually, on Netflix.
Seasons four and five get convoluted, yes they do. It's like they tried to compact something like 15 or sixteen episodes instead of what we actually got!
But Baby Hope was badass and I firmly believe if the scriptwriters were allowed to do they job properly all of your concerns would had been properly addressed, mine too for that matter.

That same spell cannot be done anymore. So Marcellus will always be that OP vampire, same as Lucien was. Hope cant kill them in OP form, but they can kill her with only a bite. Their poisonous bite kills everyone in a matter of hours.

Hope was a complete badass as a baby when she killed the car that Cami was driving while Elisha took off his day ring and blew Finn/Vincent up.

Shes a triple hybrid, if the character of Hope Michaelson had been written with the same care as her forebears in the earlier seasons of The Originals her overall story arc could've been one for the books!
Unfortunately the CW imploded with stupidity and quick money grabs as all of Warner Brothers collapsed in the buyouts, and to be honest it was a real labor of love that got the fans what we got.
I respect everyone involved, from the actors down to the lowest protection assistant for what we got.

Surely the Master (Buffy) was older than 600 years? He was already stuck in the same form when he turned Darla about 400 years ago. And Vampire have been mentioned as being around during the Crusades. If he was the first vampire (not said in show, but suggested), then he must be older. Illyria also says in Angel that vampires existed during her time (I assume Uber Vamps). Always assumed he was that first one who mixed his blood with a demon when they left this reality, as mentioned in the pilots, and probably at the end of Illyria's time. Which would put him at thousands of years old.
But, yeah, a good list I would agree with.

Uh thing that’s incorrect is Haley wasn’t an original werewolf, also no the god of time isn’t the only thing that can kill her, uh the time she killed 50 vampires was mainly because she had the hollow as that was buffing her. The wood doesn’t need to be enchanted to kill her it’s a natural substance that’s created from nature itself so it can balance the power dynamic in the universe. Uh Hope does have some of the normal vampire weaknesses it’s just she’s extremely resistant to it. If she was staked in the heart by regular wood she’d be knocked out for a few minutes to hours. Vervain (a toxic herb to vampires in the show) does burn her to a degree but she heals almost instantly from it. Also she can turn off her humanity to be more callus and bloodthirsty.

Which feats? Hellsing Alucard (with his Level Zero release) barely is city level, can get destroyed by explosives and silver bullets, a pipe (he merely regenerates because he has 2 million-ish souls), his physical damage potential is building level at best. His most impressive feats are moving an aircraft carrier back to London via telekinesis and his black dog. It seems he isn't even the strongest character in his own series as he didn't want to fight the Captain/Werewolf in the prequel manga and was almost killed by both Walter and Andersen. And this Schroedinger omnipresence thing isn't as powerful as wankers make it out to be. Just like Schroedinger he just can't get killed unless you conceptually erase him or make him unable to observe himself. He's essentially a cartoon character by then (like Bugs Bunny). It doesn't increase his other capabilities at all.

@@ritzroldennalpajora4742 Bruh I read the manga, have seen the 2001 TV show and the Ultimate OVA's. And unlike you, I understand what happens in there. Schroedingers powers merely make omnipresent. That merely means that Alucard can't be killed in a normal, physical way. And the Hellsing universe isn't that impressive to begin with. It is a relatively grounded verse with badass characters (which are outliers in their own verse). The Mayor explained how Schroedingers power works. If he can't observe himself anymore he disappears.
So hypnosis and mind control would do the trick. Not to mention that there are vampires from other anime who can literally bend reality and erase characters on a conceptual level, or can just absorb Alucard + his souls... This easily bypasses and negates Schroedingers powers. Alucard is massively wanked and overhyped.

I really like the video, but I think Lucien Castle was actually stronger than Hope. He completely ragdolled Elijah and Finn, effortlessly overpowered Klaus with one hand, and Klaus is stronger than Elijah, who himself is insanely strong (the cave he destroyed is one of his best feats of strength). Additionally, Lucien was much faster than the previously mentioned, with him being faster than Klaus and Elijah, who, according to calculations on the internet, moved at Mach 20. It is true that he can not transform into a wolf or use magic, but he is by far the physically strongest vampire of the show and he also showed resistance to magic, like when he shrugged of Freya magically making his blood boil.

One of the greatest or I should say one of my favorite 5-7 movie series is called "Subspecies. I say 5-7 is because there are 5 main movies and a few spin offs. The first movie is a slog but after that you get to see Radu in all his evil glory. Another great part is watching Michelle go from American tourest to being turned as Radu hunts her on the streets of Bucharest.!! good stuff ..Another great Vampire set of movies from the late 80's and 90's is called To die for. Its also about 2 brother vampires.. Vampires kiss is another about Mobsters dealing with a vampire. funny good. One more is "Vamp".I would say that this movie is an excellent pairing with "The lost boys" in that it is very 80's. Well wishes my friend and I love the channel.
