I was dying to use Marimo exactly as you said - to communicate the product. But you took that so much further. Thanks Dan. You're the absolute best youtuber in this space, in my opinion. I think I prioritize watching your new videos over any other.

Would really appreciate if you could set the screen full and set a screen zoom level to keep code content easy to view on different screen sizes, laptops, phones, small desktop screens. Thanks

Mathematica does the same reactive style reference updates with Dynamic[] expressions. It also has lots of widgets etc., and the killer feature is true symbolic computation.

That Mr. Beast production document is literal gold. Tens of thousands of hours of expert advice perfectly distilled. He comes off like a dick but sometimes you need to be a dick to do something great.

Wow that looks incredible, but is there a way to run it inside of vscode like a ipynb in vscode? I'd like to use the marimo as a part of the integrated workflow with all the features brought by extensions and vscode itself.
I especially love the Grid mode, is there a way to export the configuration from the grid to a file and then load it on another machine?

Probably would need to make an extension that can render it inside the UI

Uff… another toy that pushes data scientists away from writing unit tests 😮‍💨 we made so much progress getting them into VSCode and its Notebooks feature with pytest right there

marimo notebooks are stored as pure Python files. Cells can be named and used in other python files, and in this way they can be readily tested with pytest. More features to help with this are roadmapped.

I'm confused. I tried using marimo only to get a message that it's "currently in closed beta" and "join the waiting list".
