This podcast IS my brain mechanic. The warriors bible if I may. Life can be stressful for all of us and a dose of this podcast every day is my medicine of choice to stay detached from feelings or emotions and stay in the fight.
"When you associate with foreign people, try to adopt their manners. Do not ask them to adopt yours." If only that rule was still applied today...
The wiseness of this book surprised me. When I think 1940s and psychologisch, I think of locking people declared as insane away, using cruel "therapy" methods on them, etc. This is not what I expected. So many "modern" psychology things in such an old book.

Brain injury in combat means the mental faculties can’t work naturally. Just as you cannot run on a broken leg the last thing a devastated mind is contemplating is a good workout. So ,tragic. I think your discussion was very sensitive and illuminating. Thank you.
Certain Native American ceremonies and Traditional Chinese Medicine have "protocols" for symptoms disturbing the psyche especially after war and trauma-they have had these for thousands of years but they are not readily available to people not knowing/understanding their language, culture and environment. There really is no "template" since each human being is individual with specific experiences, family, et al but there are healing modalities and there are thousands of case studies which can act as guidelines for the patient in front of you. Thank you for this 3 part podcast. Needs more discussion for the general public as well as those who have served in the military and/or war/conflict zones. It may help some to understand this complex "condition" more or seek out more information. Bravo.

Yes, that is true, but what is best tested is how close to 100% each gender can focus on 2 conversations at once. Women, on average, are closer to operating at 100% focusing on two conversations.
