Batman Beyond was terrible, the guy is stronger than everyone and was underpowered and basically silent. They could've played on the fact that Terry, Damien and Helena are siblings and technically Terry is basically a clone. There was so much missed and it just annoyed me that they had the character there.
My main problem with the Crisis movies is that they're set in the Tomorrowverse with the same bland art style. I wish they adapted the art style from the comics.

Part one was actually good because it was more from the flash perspective of being present between the world's
Batman Beyond had less screen time
Hopefully Batman Beyond becomes Cannon and future projects after this event.
I bloody loved it. If you watch justice society, legion of heroes and then parts one and two, back to back, it really does improve it. It definitely doesn’t work as a stand-alone film but it’s not intended to be such. It has the problem of being the middle film without a definitive beginning, middle, and end. It should be judged on the merits of the trilogy when it’s all said and done.
The fact that the spectre mentioned the presence was the highlight of the movie for me i still love both so far ,and will wait patiently for part 3.
That was awesome man , we all got super hyped when spectre mentions the presence, that was awesome. Was that the first time dc has mentioned the presence in a movie /show?
I like the way it tied into the rest of the Tomorrowverse by showing where Supergirl was before Legion of Superheroes and the reveal that Psycho Pirate was the one controlling Aquaman in Justice Society WW2. Also revealing that Psycho Pirate was disguised in the Blue Beetle showcase was cool. But as a movie, it wasn’t great and didn’t feel like a complete film. The Batman parts felt unnecessary and it needed a stronger conclusion.
I’m a huge fan of DC Animation and this movie was a huge disappointment for me for so many different reasons…too many for me to even get into on here 🤷🏾♂️
My final opinion on this movie though is if you like the first one, you’ll probably like the second one. I didn’t care too much for the first one or the second one. I guess my major complaint is hardly anything was ever explained.
If you want to check out some good DC Animated movies, I suggest Doom, Public Enemies, and Flashpoint Paradox to start with.
The whole thing should have been done as an animated mini series on one of the streaming platforms. Like X-Men 97 on Disney+ . The animation style would have been more appropriate to the medium and they could have went into more detail with giving it a longer over all run time.
I think in part 1 Constantine aka homeless Man was voiced by Nolan North, idk why he was voicing him though
Psycho pirate was the stand out of this part

My biggest issue was a HUGE selling point for me was that we got FUTURE batman (batman beyond) that WASN'T in part 1. . . so to just randomly include him here, yet do next to nothing with him. Idk, it just felt kinda disrespectful to the character. He IS batman, he's not one of these sidekicks like the other members of the batfamily. But they just treated him lesser than they did bruce. And even then, bruce barely had significance.
My issue is. . . you can't just randomly add in ANOTHER character without any explanation, have them do nothing and use them in your promotional material. Cause it feels like there is no reason why he needed to be in this movie. Where they only added him STRICTLY to manipulate the marketing because the people selling the movie knew that the movie itself didn't do anything. His inclusion just felt insulting and manipulative.
Apparently the Batman from this Crisis, is from Earth 3? So the Justice Lords from the first part weren't?
They said he WASNT from earth 3. Robin told him he’s not even from earth 3, who made him boss and he replied “this tower is the only one in Gotham”
I haven’t seen part 2 yet but what I loved about the first was the scene where all the different heroes meet for the first time. I’m hoping for more of that
Part two was a chore to watch. Dragging this story out to 3 parts is too long. Could have ended this within two.
I remember getting into an argument with someone that the Mystery Man / Constantine from the Tommorowverse and House of Mysteries was the same one from the DCAMU. They were admit that it wasn't. I'm so happy that it's now basically confirmed.
Oh I caught it immediately in part one. Glad to know I wasn't alone
@@stevebrown985 Ya, some people are still trying to argue Flash not remembering the DCAMU disproves it. Despite in Flashpoint Paradox, the same thing happens.
@@jeremymorris345 yeah I've heard that yet in animation and live action they've basically said he'll remember for a bit and as the timeline becomes permanent his memories change, but because of the speed force he'll have dreams about past timelines but thinks they're just dreams, even says it in apokolips war
@@stevebrown985 Yep. They also tried to argue that House of Mystery wasn't canon to the Tommorowverse even though it clearly is. I kinda want to find that comment and see what they argue now because at the time, this was after Part 1.
@@jeremymorris345 yeah I was confused at the beginning of the movie but then once the spectre showed up and said what he said it clicked. Technically the dcamu should be titled

I've been bored by the tomorrowverse. Especially last 3 movies.
Disagree, these are some in depth stories that require a second watching to get everything from it.

Like you say Pagey, not bad but not that great either. It’s meh, they focused a lot on backstories they could’ve done in separate films, they should’ve focused more on the Crisis and the Antimonitor. Psycho Pirate was a good antagonist showing us how menacing he is.
I also thought it was just ok, but definitely agree that not that much really happened except for backstory .
I feel like a few of the last movies in this universe (Warworld, 1st Crisis to a lesser extent, and this one) feel like plots of several ideas/movies having to be compiled into one. A part of me wonders if the people behind these movies were hoping for/expecting the same amount of movies as the DCAMU had, but then when realizing they weren't going to be able to get that, needed to speed through and crunch ideas together in order to still tell the story they want to tell throughout them.
Actually yes, the James gunn hiring made it so they have to wrap it up as anything after that's animation will tie in to his dcu
There is more to it. the movie dark apocalypse and the one before that are part of this, their just not in the named title separate but together...wanna know how flash and JC ended up like this go watch those 2 😮...also cool little fight with trigon and Darkseid......it was kinda dope
I'd give this one a 7/10 (for the record, I'd give part one 8/10). The Psycho Pirate backstory was really cool (although the scene with Dr. Fate were somewhat confusing, but maybe that will be revealed more later). Also enjoyed the Supergirl/Monitor backstory. I was looking forward to the shadow demon fights, and they were pretty good, but could have been better. I agree there were budget issues, with the lack of action, lack of characters, etc. Questionable choices too with Green Lantern (I won't get into spoilers). I also agree that they should have done more to tell us what Earths we were on, that would have been helpful. Regardless, can't wait for part three!!!
though i agree that part 1 was better than part 2 in terms of a standalone movie, like another comment said, these movies were designed and should be treated as a trilogy instead of 3 standalone movies, so it is expected for part 2 to not feel like a movie but i do agree that it could have done better and we have another part to go. Now this isn't an excuse for part 2, like you mentioned, i also struggled following the story sometimes and was confused why they didn't include text for what earth or time period we was in during the beginning and the backstories of the movie as it took away from the intensity and emotion of certain scenes when your trying to spy out where we are and what time were in. Besides that, i enjoyed both parts so far and cant wait for part 3.

My son and I enjoyed part 2 more than part 1. Part 1 felt all over the place and confusing to us.
I think people thoroughly missed the point of this movie, the main characters are Kara and The monitor. Don't you realize is that the monitor has been watching the universe slowly collapsed throughout the entire tomorrowverse, and in finding Kara develops a father daughter relationship. He has always only watched, and his people are as a group choosing destruction over action. Monitor learns to love Kara, therefore all life in known existence as well, by her hopfull lesson. We see that Specter is apearing as a voice of some unknown realms of reality, and that he is attempting to teach The monitor how to love. Its an amazing movie. Only a child couldn't appreciate that.

To be honest the CW vrsn even though small, did a pretty great job
been loving these movies, so much mystery and amazing artstyle. the other movies now havea fuller picture, never read the comics version my bf did and still enjoyed it. part two is slower but is building, sprinkled in some action. gona have to watch all the movies from this verse again when its finished, all connected. now i know you didnt pay attention to the movie, thats not anti monitor at the end, thats the shadow demons. more characters would just confuse viewers like you.

I thought part two was a lot better. Part one was almost terrible.
Im definitely not feeling this 3 part series… Part 1 one was decent but the general story to me is all over the place..

this one was okay, not amazing and not terrible. I didn't like how they started off along with the pacing. this was the same issue I had with jl: warworld. these films aren't very straightforward with what's going on. I don't bother comparing to the comics because I know stuff is always changed for anything made into a film of any kind. not really a fan of the tomorrow verse but I do love DC so I'm going to see it through and enjoy because they tell stories we most likely won't see in live action.
I felt like part 2 had to be a little blah, so that Part 3 will be hyped. But yeah there was a big lack of characters in this one, tho it was cool to see Batman Beyond. Either way I'm excited to see how it ends. DC always kills it when it come to their animation.

Same here. I also thought it would have been a more different, & focus a little bit more on the Bat Family as it is on the poster. I also like part 1 much more than this 1, & was intresting to see how & what happened between Kara, & the Monitor. The psyco pirate stuff, took much more than he should have. I didn't like that. Like youm I also much prefer part 1, was really strong & really excellent & lovved it. I hope the finale part 3 will be better than this 1, & yes that is correct, the late Kevin Conry recorded lines for his Batman from the animated series, as well as Mark Hamilton for the same Joker of the animated series. I just hope they will be really long, strong, & good parts of the movie, & will be much beter than part 2.
this entry was boring. I’m glad they’re wrapping tomorrow-verse up. the only films i cared for was the batman long halloween(batman fanatic and this was really good)and the Superman one. didn’t see green lantern, attempted to watch warworld until I realized this wasn’t a true Justice league film. the one with supergirl is alright but this whole universe is NOWHERE near the quality of the previous jniverse
I liked everything about the first movie and the second movie!!! I definitely think that lead up to the hype and I can’t wait for the 3rd movie!!!
