Policing is a difficult job which sometimes involves danger. The instinct is for a culture of protecting your buddies, who may one day save your life. This usually leads to a culture where lying and covering up are endemic. I would never trust a policeman. Policing needs very strict external watchdogs and independent investigations of all complaints if the system is to overcome these weaknesses. Ues spot on. Sack them
Common? Really?
@@richardjones3792 Common is an overstatement, but it's obvious that people that get off on having power and control over others are attracted to policing jobs and similar.
If Assistant Commissioner Barbara Grey accepts responsibility, she should resign on the grounds of criminal negligence and go to prison too!
Agreed.
She probably will, but can you see a pattern here, throwing female police officers to the dogs?
Karl Young, 🎯👍👏👏💯🙋♀️🇬🇧
Criminal negligence would require mens rea
I worked with an ex Met Police officer and they were really unpleasant, patronising, belittling and bullying. I’ve also worked with current and former officers from other forces without any problems.
phff
@@markcargill9734 They were a total bell. They would lie in their statements and reports and tried to get me to lie to the Police once about an incident I’d witnessed. I was so glad when they f***ed off and got another job.
Ever worked for Sussex Police? They’re a nasty lot too in my experience
I have two living opposite me that drink excessively, bully and cause misery! Nobody does anything but you bet your bottom dollar as soon as I pipe up or do anything I get arrested. It’s like a mafia
I bet your apologies will not do jackshit for the victims!!
