I think they did take floor out in order to get the sound so vi-vet loud and prune to the bone,but come on 12 hours of this every day.....? deaf or something...for short time sound great. TH

It's got a valve. You change back to the stock sound with the press of a button.

what is that square thing by the right hand windscreen wiper that seems to be lit up?

+Xantec if you pause the video at 1:35 you'll see that there is also one on the left side of the cabin and both show what appears to be an animal (polar bear perhaps?). They're lit so it's visible at night. All in all, great looking truck, love the Vabis wheel.

zac neave no muffler will do that, i would go insane if had to drive in that noise, strate six volvo is the better option :) smooth power.

***** well i own two volvos so not a fan i would say, but the work fine and i think they have better solutions then scania. only those two dealers in my town so cant have another brand then one out of the other :)

Nothing wrong at all. A Scania R560 V8(All Scania V8's) with open/straight pipes makes this noise. Thats why you also can hear the wastegate when he's shifting gears...
