+Soundman, I just wanted to thank you for putting this out in time for me to take a shit. it's always nice to be able to view your current work as I'm trying to pinch one off. I remember the last time when I was watching part 3; I was also here dropping bricks. Thanks for your support. You make my shits a little easier.
***** Sun and Heat.... Thats what we don't have in the UK.... Ive build some kick panels and door cards for my 1961 splitscreen using UV cure resin and it does take time in the UK..
I do work with fiberglass and I like the way you are making your shapes with fiberglass sheets instead of a crappy wood frame and fleece, hope they turn out the way you want them.
the Sunflash resin fibreglass gear seems to be giving pretty great results. Great to see you are getting closer by the episode to having your dream system completed. Should sound amazing.
Although time consuming, I like the fact that the enclosures aren't made entirely of heavy MDF. It's a lot of work layering the pieces together in FG, but it will ultimately be worth it. I can't wait to see the end result. It would also be nice to have the vehicle at a show where we can see and, more importantly, hear the system.
Ohh boy i can't wait for these kick panels and dash to be done prolly be sometime in 2016 but the exhilaration of it is almost to much to handle, il prolly die of some sorta future disease before this gets done, just kidding love the show man keep it up,
Looks amazing I have watched every amplified episode in the last month as I have been working all I can say your an artist doug and I can't wait for the next one
I immediately get in a better mood in the first 5 seconds of watching you bro. I laugh through every episode (but pay attention). You are the greatest! Love you bro! I am also very pleased that you didn't jump on the Hertz bandwagon and went with HAT. I can't wait to hear your feedback on them. Keep up the great videos sir, I'm always looking forward to them. Top notch in my book, ALWAYS a good time and thank you!!
The wave guide looks smooth! I'm thinking a "before and after" listening test with the guide would be quite noticeable, and it didn't even have anything to do with the speakers or the speaker mounting.
Nice work on the pods Doug. I feel your frustration. I have about 250 hours into my VW Caddy and wonder if it's ever going to end. Sometimes I feel like lighting it on fire too:) Anyways, I enjoy watching Amplified for FREE. Keep up the good work! Jon Polo
Is this going to be a tennis match between CAF and soundman? haha Mark serves, and BAM Doug returns... what happens next...we shall see next episode ;) Good work as usual soundman!!
***** How many Layers of fiberglass are you going to use for the whole project ?? 1 layer = 1 video, so like 40 more layers Aka video and it will be finished, cant wait for finished product in the year 2021 lol
Do people expect this project to be short? The box build was long, and even though these aren't wooden subwoofer boxes, people should know that doing things the right way ACTUALLY TAKES TIME... I wanna see them body-worked
Doug u r the funnest honest man alive....thank u...can we have a little more....video we dont care what is....or even saying some thing came in the mail today....deez nuts...dont care just more video
Doug I watch you over any other car audio UA-cam channels because your the shiz-bang-fanizzle wish I lived in California so I could stop by and meet you and Rafa and see the mule in person videos and pics don't give it justice in my opinion but that's just me like it old school know what I'm sayin keep up the awesome work can't wait till your completely down and are you going to add grills to the speakers or are they really going to be kickin it
Today on car audio fabrication, we'll be pretending like we don't get paid to recommend $500 router bit sets. Thanks a ton for making these videos too, you're fucking great at what you do, nice to see someone who I don't instantly hate doing professional work. Oh, if you get a sec, tell Rafa his mom says hi.
Just found your videos a couple weeks ago. I have watched a ton of them and thoroughly enjoy them. I am curious what pedal setup you are using in the mule. I am trying to finish up a body drop on my toyota pickup and curious what you are using.
Bro channel is fucking awesome you and Rafa and the mom jokes are insanely funny keep it up you guys are entertaining and instructional all together awesome
CAF is just mad cause Doug has more fans that he does. CAF is attempting to do the same as Doug with these projects that take forever. the problem is CAF sounds like the red eyes commercial guy. Doug is hilarious so even if his projects take forever I would still watch them.
Hmmm I wonder if Mark will have a comeback for this?
^Lol dumb question! ;)
Lol
You're videos suck and you're boring as hell soooo
It will be a your mum comeback Hhahaha
Fight him Mark...
U have really perfected your humor since opening this shop. I swear u can say anything & make me laugh now.

I'm from the UK and used sunflash to make my sub box in 2013.
I'm still waiting for it to harden.
***** Sun and Heat.... Thats what we don't have in the UK.... Ive build some kick panels and door cards for my 1961 splitscreen using UV cure resin and it does take time in the UK..
You need real sunlight for it to harden, not grey clouds.
Wow that fiberglass work would make anyone stress out! Can't wait to see the final product! Looks really good!
I do work with fiberglass and I like the way you are making your shapes with fiberglass sheets instead of a crappy wood frame and fleece, hope they turn out the way you want them.

It only took 6 minutes 58 seconds to watch 58 seconds of material.... Love this guy
Oohhh snap! Shots fired at C.A.F lol. U can take as long as you want Doug this stuff is too entertaining!!

Love the banter and you have some the best background music out there!!! Your commentary and antics are top notch!!! Great production!!

Lmao... hey papa soundman is back. Doug are you going to sound dampen the area where you are placing the kick panel as well?
Can you tell me when you're done with the mule project? I'll hibernate for now 😝
In the next episode, Doug will fiberglass the fiberglass.
Nice haircut bruh, I think this is the first time the noticed you without a hat.
"which we measure using imagination" hahaha damn so many times i've done that when setting up pa systems for concerts and plays.
They will be sweet !!!
In like 40 episodes
the kick panels should be done somewhere around part 5000
callin out CAF? Shots fired!
Wouldn't it suck that by the time he's done with this in 2020 that the first time he takes the mule out for a drive it gets totaled in an accident?
Shots fired shot fired C.A.F is down lol
How many episodes is this kick panel gonna take????? Cheech
Funniest episode to date man! Love it! U had me on the 4 legged Chupacabra!! Hahaha
Just found your videos a couple weeks ago. I have watched a ton of them and thoroughly enjoy them. I am curious what pedal setup you are using in the mule. I am trying to finish up a body drop on my toyota pickup and curious what you are using.
Love the videos doug :) funny as fark finally someone who is honest ,keep them coming
Awesome call out on CAF, you need to say "Tem-Plates" though.
Funny video....I hope next one comes soon..
This channel has turned into "Doug fucks with fiberglass and Rafa's Mamma"
BTW, your doing a great job keep up the good work.
Is that scotch tape my cousin whos been installing for 23 years in his backyard uses that he said he uses it as electrical tape it works great
And today we laid two pieces of fiberglass.
Bro channel is fucking awesome you and Rafa and the mom jokes are insanely funny keep it up you guys are entertaining and instructional all together awesome
well HAWT DAMN they are looking good!
What does your dad think of your work and techniques used for this build?
for the love of all that's holy clean that fucking lens and possibly the sensor of your camera. it drive me crazy!
good job as usual man!
Are you sure that's the right type of fiber glass Doug?
Make more Soundman shirts like the one with the subwoofer picture but in different colors. ..please
Are you going to put a iPad dash kit in the car too?
You should get Matt Huffer to help you!
CAF is just mad cause Doug has more fans that he does. CAF is attempting to do the same as Doug with these projects that take forever. the problem is CAF sounds like the red eyes commercial guy. Doug is hilarious so even if his projects take forever I would still watch them.
i wonder if that sunflash shit would work with a blacklight.
Now on to the really dumb questions. After eating, do amphibians have to wait one hour before getting out of the water?
Embrace my brother Doug embrace you're supposed to use green tape though anyway I don't work with fiberglass so......
pretty sure if fiberglass is strong enough to make boats out of it can hold speakers in place
Nice work can we watch a full show
Tell us or make a video of what Grandpa SoundMan thinks of the Mule.
Good video jus take your time don't rush and have an half a** job done
Damn Doug your lens is dirty!!!
The comment about mark was the funniest shit I've ever heard.
Que paso con los vídeos ya no subirán mas ?
Dumb question! With the sound waves focused to the center of the truck/car/bug (Mule) will this create an image of Rufa's mom's in it?
