    - Kyoto sounds like a really good villain theme 6:35
    - Equinox sounds like the theme of a rising hero 5:20
    - Cinema sounds like a final battle between good and evil 2:10
    - Equinox [Theme] sounds like the somber end to a conflict 9:09
Can someone just make an entire movie soundtrack out of Skrillex songs?

This just shows how deep the levels are Skrillex's music. There is something about this guy; his composition and arrangement are very sophisticated. There's more to his music than a quick, flash in the pan song with awesome beats. What he does, he does good even if it's composed on a laptop. His music transcends. Thanks!

It's really cool to see things like Dubstep and EDM shown through classical music. people love to think that musical complexity peaked during the Victorian era with the orchestra and died as styles like rock and electronic music took over. but honestly this new music is just as complex, both in it's components and in it's ability to express deep emotion, as the music of the past.

Years ago I met a composer at a rave and he kept going on about how EDM (specifically trance/dubstep/dnb) is the closest genre to traditional symphony that we have in modern society without it actually being symphony. That one day he would love to lead a symphony but stay within the realm of EDM. I wonder whatever happened to that guy.

The invention of the internet has meant high and low forms of art or cultures are more accessible so these kinds of transcriptions can be created more readily and consumed. Before the 90s, I dont think children/teens/young adults were as interested in classical, baroque or romantic era music as much as they are now for instance due to accessibility and experience bias. Unless you learned an instrument.

I really hope Sonny sees this. Even better if he did a reaction video to it. I would cry from happiness if I found a video like this of my music. Just because of the beauty and dedication it took to do the performance. The amount of practice and organization it takes for an orchestra to learn something would have me feeling so appreciated and honored. Absolutely amazing

I don't understand why people are disliking this video. This is a beautiful and original piece of music. Just because dubstep and classical music are not alike doesn't mean they can't work together. Furthermore, those who are disliking this just because the music is originally from Skrillex does not mean that you have to dislike this work of art. I believe that this is an amazing orchestra, who isn't. perfect, but very close. Brilliant.

This sounds more like a Skrillex Orchestral Mashup, which I enjoyed so much. And it makes me want to listen to more of Skrillex's music as an orchestral version. It's so soothing, really thought out, and generally great. I remember when he posted this on Facebook. So this is my second time watching it again.

I'm aware this is an old comment, sorry to necropost.
If you love this sort of darker blending of orchestral music that sounds like it should be in a horror film or similiar. I would love to recommend you SepticFlesh (they are a metal orchestral band) but look up their orchestral works.
Its honestly amazing, full philharmonic of Prague plus child choirs, composed in such a manner that both the metal and the orchestra compliment each other rather than one backing the other.
They have orchestral only tracks if you are not a fan for the metal flavors and they are really cool.
Just saw your comment amongst many others and wanted to share.
Sorry for commenting on an old comment, but it's always worth sharing good music I think.

newvultraz Well, there are notes being played. The wub sound is a modulation of the filter frequency or pitch (2 different things) which may cause confusion.

The point is... Dubstep is really easy to produce.
Dubstep is music as like as a fart is music. To produce dubstep as orchestra is much more work than producing a orchestra into dubstep.

    Nope.
The players are amazing, the music sounds beautiful, but it's just nowhere near close enough. It just sounds like a classical composition. The tones are two soft, there is much less attack on the notes.
Yeah yeah yeah, I get it, it's not meant to sound like dubstep. But what if we really DID lose all digital technology, how would we play this....? (queue loud chorus of angry comments begin replying that that WILL NEVER HAPPEN)
Why didn't they use drums with this? Every time I see classical performed they never use that shit... I wonder why. It would be so cool. The drumming is usually reeeeeeeeally boring, if there is any. 1 and 1 and 1 and 1 and 1 and 1...

It’s because mostly people like to compose using the old way of thinking of music. When classical music was the thing, drums were very secondary. It was only after industrialisation that drums started appearing.
