    They’re a great motor, very torquey, and they take to mods very well

      Thanks! I feel the same! That's why I decided to stick with mitsu 6g instead of engine/drivetrain swap like everyone else......

    Makes me feel good about my purchase haha. Got myself a 2008 gt eclipse with this engine. Looking to turbo it at some point but im huge into it so can't do it all myself. Slowly ill play with it. Such a fun car and engine. Give it hell at the track haha !!

    its basically the fastest v6 all motor in the drag racing scene right now with a trap speed of 167 mph in quarter mile run by el Yadiel mirage, there are also a couple of guys now who went with the force induction set-up using this motor I the highest awhp of a 6g75 mivec turbo is 789 whp and some running 600+whp which are street cars. and there still a lot left with those motors.

    I have this motor, no mivac in my Australian Galant, no issues at all. I rarely go over 2000rpm.

    Curious as to what you're planning with this one ;)

      @@jarretsouth1215 Of course :) I know what it's like to keep projects on the DL until it's prime time. Best of luck! And, for what it's worth - build it right the first, and hopefully only, time.

    Might have to clock the rear turbo depending on what manifolds you buy or make.

    • @slippercream
      @slippercream 4 роки тому

      Who needs 2 turbos? You won't need two. The heads on the 75M push enough air (both I/E) and generate enough low-end torque to not need any boost to get you to launch efficiently at low RPM.

    my engine is just like this one, it is leaking oil there in the exhaust manifold that fits into the engine where the gasket goes! the oil does not drip on the floor, it leaks very little, almost nothing! this is a problem should i change the gasket?

    How much boost do you think that engine could handle as it is stock?

    • @jarretsouth1215

      I have seen varying numbers from people who have done it, but not much. I never planned on running it with stock internals, but if memory serves me right, single digits to low teens at best on stock pistons/rods/CR.

    Im planning to get a Mitsubishi Pajero/Montero/Shogun with this engine. What do you recommend? This or the 3.0 6g72?

    • @jarretsouth1215
      @jarretsouth1215  4 роки тому

      I like this engine, but it really depends on your skillset, and availability of parts. I would tend to stay more towards what is a direct drop in. If the 3.0 is more work, I'd use this. If the 3.8 is more work, I'd use the 3.0.

      @@jarretsouth1215 so you’re saying there’s not much differences in the engines?

    • @jarretsouth1215
      @jarretsouth1215  4 роки тому

      There are many, but they are still similar in design. As confusing as that sounds lol. They are still 6G engine design. So it wouldnt be as bad as, say, swapping in a Toyota v6, but it would still potentially have variances that need addressed. Accessories, transmissions, etc are some of the differences. Depending on what your desired outcome, that may not matter. Or it may be a roadblock.

    You shouldve thrown it in the mirage

      I would've, but one car at a time😁. I only have so much money. Tha mirage will be plenty on its own😈

      I dont know what you mean? This car has run a best of 12.6 on a stock 3.0lTT. This video highlights the new engine. It has not made a pass yet.

      Oh yes well aware of that car🥰 I'd love to throw down numbers like that, but I'm only a one man crew working out of personal garage. For now, I'd be happy just for some solid shakedown passes and no breakage😂
