LX 706 is the best, you do not want lid open halfway as the 708, I have some beautiful antiques sitting on top , kawai and Yamaha are low buddy style, Kawai models got cloth top 😮😮😮
LX is the best of All 👍👍👍
I wonder why anyone would insist on digital pianos being just like acoustic ones? They are not. Two different beasts. You can't practice or play silently on an acoustic, that is the difference that counts for many.
A fine presentation gentlemen. I would like to see which tones are modeled and which tones are sampled on these Roland pianos. Is there a chart somewhere?
I own one and is just great.
Is it good for classical music???
@@markwhite5926 Yes. But with phones.
How does it compare to Casio GP-510?
The action of the Roland LX706 is comparable to the Casio GP 510, although the Roland's action feels lighter and the Casio's action feels a bit heavier. When it comes to sound, it is totally different due to the different placement of the speakers. The Roland sounds more ambient and the Casio sounds more direct and louder. The Casio has good piano, but the the other instrument sounds are garbage, whereas the Roland's other instrument sounds are good also. I wish I could own both of them, but I returned the Casio GP310 hybrid and purchased the Roland LX706 instead. Now, both of these instruments, due to inflation, are double in price compared to when I purchased them in 2020.
