For me, personally, Marshall is the best amplifier in the world! Thier valve amps are unparalleled! 🤘 If I ever make it to England, this will be the place I visit!
Jim Marshall used to buy newspapers from my parents Newsagents in Bletchley in the 60’s. They said he was a very polite man. They call it Milton Keynes now, but it’s still Bletchley.
I really like how they try to embrace the core of what made the Marshall brand and give us stories and faces too - even if the amps probably amount to less than 10 % of revenue nowadays.
Great stuff, such wonderful memories as a 13- or 14-year-old wannabe guitar player lusting after an unobtainable Marshall amp for a skint kid... lol. The Amp brand of all my heroes...
Noticing alot of popular gear-review youtubers getting tours of the factory lately. Here's hoping they go back to building products made for players and will restore their legacy!
My Dad worked in this building for 10 years or so until his recent retirement and I didn't get a chance to do the tour in person so this was a great replacement!
I just wanted to share that I love watching Anderton's music content. I've been a subscriber since I was in high school and it's good to see the channel keeps on growing with lots of awesome content. Happy holidays to everyone and I am looking forward to watching the channel's future content in 2025. I love you guys (I'm straight) from Andertons and keep on doin watchu do best 🤘
I love Marshall Amps. The amps that power Rock n Roll!

I've played the Museum segment 5 times+ over and over again! Lee is right! Here in the USA when we see a Marshall head, combo it's with reverence, respect! and with excitement Great U.K company for all the world to enjoy! Greetings from Hollywood, California!
The amp I learned to play on was a 70's non master volume JMP50 2 x 12 combo. As I improved my guitar teacher let me progress to his 60's JTM45 and then 80's JCM800. This was mid 2000's so basically like learning to drive in a vintage Maserati, but these were his working amps. I'm the proud owner of a Steve Rouse built, pure P2P JTM45 with original 60's Dagnall iron which took me 7 years of constant badgering of my guitar teacher to sell me it.
I live in MK & run past this factory occasionally. (We have a great running club here). I didn't recognise any of the staff but I do know a guitarist who used to work there soldering components.
Funny as a Canadian I was instantly racking my brain as to the voice of the Marshal Rep and it finally came to me, Guitaristas accent and voice are exactly the same they could sound like twins if you didn't see their faces LOL.
Consider this: when Milton Keynes was being built, Marshall was sponsored to move the company there & the entire work force moved with the company. Jim Marshall must have been a great guy to work for.
Didn't Andertons do a limited run with offset-logo re-issues of something? (The video with bonamassa). I expected them to be in the museum somewhere, or did I miss them?
Marshall uses very good capacitors. What I’d give to work in electronic production there. If the wages were right, I’d work there! Escape from the quickly approaching blight.
Hi guys. I've got a Marshall DSL40 combo about 5 years old. I'm trying to mic it up. I've connected mic to input on outside of amp,but where do I plug the guitar into. Tried everything, but can't get guitar going???
Maybe they should explain why it’s taking so damn long to ship products. I’ve been waiting almost 6 months for silver jubilee 20w. The dates keep getting pushed back. WTF!!!
I wonder if they're ever going to properly innovate now or have they just gone down a path that they won't be able to lift themselves out of. They are now known as the brand that sells bluetooth speakers.
When is Marshall going to bring back the JMP and JCM 800 1 watt 50th anniversary series ? The current DSL 1 watt SUCKS in comparison , if you're going to offer a 1 watt at least give us the best versions . People all over the world have been asking for these to be reissued .
Hi. I went on a bit of a weird tangent, but: With an average song length of 4.5 minutes, 5 songs per employee monthly (30 days), daily opening hours of 9 to 6 (9 hours), that suggests there should be about 720 employees there. Goodbye.
Marshall hasn't come out with anything new in years. Positive Grid is killing it with their spark line. We need a new Marshall modeling amp that beats the competition
I think Marshall should take the friedman route and not make any low end amps and make really good sounding amp in a box pedals and IRX type pedals and focus on high quality great sounding tube amps in England
Marshall are making a mistake in my humble opinion. Younger people embrace the individuality in choices. We live in very different times and Marshall isn’t adapting. It’s simple, Marshall. People want the option of different colors! I’ve heard your reason but I truly believe you’re making a mistake. And it’s a big one. Just add in an option for white amps in your current lineup. No special edition anniversary wanktacular with massive price hikes, just offer what you are currently building in white at the same price. And see what happens. PLEASE! LIKE IF YOU AGREE. TRUST ME. There’s demand out there.
My interview with Terry Marshall will be out tomorrow (27th Dec) at 3pm UK time 👍
Wow!!!! A Mr Marshall!!!!
Fantastic! My first amp was a Marshall 12 watt, I believe or 10 watt.
I would love to see a factory Tour @victory ❤
Man You talk tooooo muuuuch. Leave The man speak about his business. Very annoying from tour "captain"
@@montauta It is Anderton's channel. Happy for Lee to ask questions.

Loving this. Thanks Marshall and Capt. Anderton for the tour!
Marshall represents far more than just an amplifier.
Jim Marshall used to buy newspapers from my parents Newsagents in Bletchley in the 60’s. They said he was a very polite man. They call it Milton Keynes now, but it’s still Bletchley.
It is still Bletchley, but an important part of MK's history. Marshall's is closer to Denbigh Hall than Central Bletchley.
I really like how they try to embrace the core of what made the Marshall brand and give us stories and faces too - even if the amps probably amount to less than 10 % of revenue nowadays.

Thanks for the awesome tour video, Marshall is one name that has so much history with electric guitar and is so iconic!!!
Perfect Timing, Got my Coffee Ready, Happy Holidays!
My Dad worked in this building for 10 years or so until his recent retirement and I didn't get a chance to do the tour in person so this was a great replacement!
Marshall is such an iconic brand I sometimes forget it’s a uk brand. They are so ensconced in the United States.
....never owned a Marshall amp made in the uk.
Thanks Andertons for the great xmas viewing better than the telly
Brilliant video. Lee. Definitely on my bucket list for 2025!
Brought a DSL40cr last month. First Marshall after using Fender, Boss in the past. Love it.
a brilliant vid cap, amazing tour loved it m.

Love Marshall amplifiers!
Thank you very much. ❤
Great video, lots of memories. I remember Marshall also had a small showroom in Bletchley Rd, not far along from the Post Office.
Recently took delivery of the Studio Jubilee, absolutely love it. Superb amp!
Head or combo ?
@ head + a 2x12.
I love this! What a fascinating tour!

Thanks for everything that you do Lee.
The music history is rich with this one. From a long time instrument retailer to the most iconic amplifier manufacturer in the UK.
As an American who may never visit Europe, thank you for this.
What a cool video! Andertons rocks!
My first tube amp is a jcm 900 mkiii only made for 2 years ... amazing sleeper
Cheers Steve. Nice jacket.
Steve is a legend!
Steve is rocking the BlackBerry Smoke Swag as well. Those boys rock the old Marshalls pretty well.🤘🏻
It looked like there were some Paul Weller signature amps that he just wandered by?
Interesting to hear that the modern and vintage cabinets have a different radii to their sides. Did not know that.
I live in MK & run past this factory occasionally. (We have a great running club here). I didn't recognise any of the staff but I do know a guitarist who used to work there soldering components.
Jimi Hendrix played Marshall , pretty cool .

Marshall needs to make a production hot rod modded plexi amp.
love this 😊
Consider this: when Milton Keynes was being built, Marshall was sponsored to move the company there & the entire work force moved with the company. Jim Marshall must have been a great guy to work for.
Someone needs to do a bunch of captures on some of that old kit for the QC!
Cool to see but i am pretty amazed at how little precautions are taken in terms of ESD when assembling the electronics..
No matter what other brands there are and what one say they have "bettered" it, Marshall IS the sound of rock.
Hopefully, Marshall gets back to the top in 2025 with some new models, innovation, etc
I used to have a Park 2x12 exactly like the one at 44:27. It was very, very loud!
Confirmed. The Capt. is a part-owner at Marshall 📈
So when can expect more amps in the USA?
very cool
"when i very first started"..??..😂
..." Where would we be without cardboard? "😸😸😸 The factory is of tardis!!!!!!!
Did anyone else notice the Slash amps and cabs were completely ignored? I think they might have a bit of a bee in their bonnet. 🤦🏻♂️😂
Steve is the most American looking British man I've ever seen 😂
:D :D :D. Hahahahaha.
Didn't Andertons do a limited run with offset-logo re-issues of something? (The video with bonamassa). I expected them to be in the museum somewhere, or did I miss them?

Production like in the Stone Age.

Proper British amps, them.

That museum needs to be in bigger room all on its own to properly display everything rather than having things buried like a storeroom.
marshall still make amps?! thought it was just mini speakers, mini fridges and headphones haha!
I wonder if they're ever going to properly innovate now or have they just gone down a path that they won't be able to lift themselves out of. They are now known as the brand that sells bluetooth speakers.

Marshall Valvestate 8100... the sound of Chuck Schuldiner.
I love Marshall amps so much that I bought a Friedman.

I’m tired of acting like supposed to be excited to see a CNC machine humming.
Pallets of Celestions..
It was also mentioned that their power coating was done by a 3rd party specialist. How is buying in a speaker from a speaker specialist any different?
Dunno, feels a bit sad and low key, can’t imagine how 450 amps a week supports a building of that size unless it’s already paid for.
Wish they still made Lead 100 MOSFET and Valvestate. Us death metal dudes get no love from Marshall.
whats the big deal. even a child can make a wooden box for a speaker
😴
Been on this tour. Epic place. 2025 valve amps are coming back I think
Are we getting Billie Joe signature heads????
