So just clear confusion for everyone, Mad Mew Mew's theme isn't directly a remix of Spider Dance. (Muffets theme) It's a remix of Mad Dummy's theme: Dummy!. (Makes sense as they're the same character). The 2 songs sound so similar because Spider Dance is a remix of Dummy! OR both are remixes of Napstablooks theme: Ghost Fight. The 3 likely share the same arrangement being all midbosses.
That doesn't change the plain and simple fact that mad dummy isn't as universally recognized as Muffet Muffet. Plus, as far as bosses go, Muffet Muffet was far more memorable.
You do have to think though: Muffet is the second real difficulty spike in the game for me and is the main 'boss' of the Hotlands. I personally think she is a main Boss.
