I'm happy to see you return. Was this by any chance based on the first battle of St Albans in 1455 which was the opening battle of the Wars of the Roses? The video was brilliant and I enjoyed it immensely
Hiya! I'm so glad to be back and I'm super happy to see you here as well! Correct! This battle was indeed based on the First Battle of St Albans, as I found that battle to actually be quite interesting in how it sparked a civil war

@@ATaleByOC So there's a large continent-spanning nation. Think Roman empire or the Mongol empire. The ruler is currently on his third marriage when a coup d'état removes him from power. This coup is orchestrated by the family of the third wife to put her eldest son on the throne. The children of the other two wives take up arms to contest this illegal takeover. The whole world has Renaissance technology and magic.
@@ATaleByOC Firstly I swear I've already sent a comment but evidently, I forgot to send it. So a little nugget of lore from my world is there is a continent-spanning empire that is ruled by an emperor. This emperor has married three times as both his first and second wives died in childbirth. The Emperor is old and dies. the only child of his second wife has to escape the capital after the family of the third wife seized power in the night following the emperor's death in the name of the eldest child of the third wife. The children of the first and second wives pool their resources to contend the succession. the sons of the first wife and the emperor are elsewhere during the takeover of the capital. one is in the far north and the other is in the middle of the continent.

However, I found the family tree unclear, it seems to indicate that Cathal and Silas are brother and sister, but I'm not sure if that's the intention?
