I was having the same issue, then I installed 2017a and it takes some time in the start but after a while, it starts working fine. Simulation time also depends on the solver used for that specific simulation. You can try changing it by clicking on it on the bottom left corner.
Fantastic video, quite hard to find actual models of CCCV. I am currently evaluating how much quicker a concentrated PV module can charge a battery, as by introducing a small optical concentrator to a cell it will increase the short circuit current and therefore the charging current. As I am a sinulink beginner, I don’t have much expirece modelling therefore I’d like to know if the battery in your model is a LIthium-ion technology? Could I change the parameters of the battery to try simulate different battery capacities? If so, my work will be published by ElSEVIER, id like to know if you’d be interested in helping me with this model?? Best regards! Jose

By forcing the voltage between battery terminal to be constant, as the battery get full the current charging it must go down. but you must give the excess current another path to go through ... so you can say that the battery resistance get higher so current is shifted away to another bath

@@antonioworrell5524 it depends on the ram of your laptop/system. you would need preferebly 4 gb ram or 6gb ram.
