The part that gets me is that mattel bought out all the factories that make saran hair, which is why MGA uses nylon now. So why is mattel giving their dolls polly?! Makes no sense, but she's a very pretty doll.

Would love if they stopped with the giant lockers and used its budget for saran hair and a doll stand doll for future SS dolls but its a dream haha

No more poly hair ! Like, give up some of the useless plastic pieces nobody cares about. The 3 pieces for the lever for the elevator. Actually, Screw the elevator. Let that space be a door that opens for more closet or doll. Love the look of the lockers, but maybe make out of nice strong cardboard. Would that be cheaper for saran hair ?
Venus maybe the only I'll probably get, on sale of course. The poly just takes me tf out(low-key starting to think I'm allergic too it which is crazy cause it gives me itches I swear😭) but she looks amazing tho. The edges are so💕 ugh😩✨ it looks wonderful.
In regards to Venus having straight hair however, I wish they would've crumpled her hair to give it some texture just like they did for Clawdeen for SS1. And she had poly hair for that doll too so what's up Mattel? Surely that wouldn't have taken much budget to crumple it:/. But she looks amazing overall.
Omg I love them got them all the other day ❤. Only wish they stop with the poly hair my wrist are breaking from doing reroots. 😢
on the colors! i also definetly think there was something different in the vinyl batch because her skintone does seem a bit darker and duller, the vine shoes are also very close to her skintone, though a slightly different hue and much brighter, to me an ugly green. i also think some of pinks are off on this doll.

I had to have these ones because of Lenore Loomington. In the video about her the three designers were having a tea party in a creepy garden...now I want to make a creepy garden with lots of glow in the dark designs.
I skip the polypropylene dolls, except for the first few releases, but I'm not missing this Venus, or the Drac.
For 30$ though, I'd definitely prefer saran, and less plastic stuff.
Loved all three of your reviews. I agree, LOVE these dolls but could we go to a cardboard reveal box and spend the extra budget on good hair and more bling!

venus is the best one from this line imo, and i LOVE twyla and draculaura too. but even with the less than awesome hair, venus tops them both for me. 🤌🏻
