This episode is written by David Wise, whom would also write a similar episode for "The Transformers" with the same title and a near identical plot. It was again recycled for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episode "Casey Jones: Outlaw Hero," also written by David Wise. The episode "The Mean Machines" also has a nearly identical plot to this episode with the Shredder controlling a machine known as "UMNESS" (mentioned by Baxter Stockman in the "Out of the Shadows" film) to control all machines and appliances in New York.
Three episodes of Transformers, actually. "Day of the Machines" was the blunt of this episode, with the shrinking portion used in "Microbots," and the energy creature used in "Kremzeek."
Adam changes into He-Man around the 9 minute mark and it's right in front of Teela's face. She doesn't even wonder where Adam is. At this point the writers obviously don't give a shit about the secret lol
He-Man allows Teela to go to Snake mountain into harms way without him? WTF? She should have stayed behind to battle the computer malfunctions while He-man went there to spy on Skeletor
This episode is one of my many favorite ones. The other and I think probably my very favorite episode is the one where Skeletor turns people to stone, and brings stone to life.
In one episode Teela is down in the abyss and saw part of Adam's transformation into He-Man take place. She saw the energy beams from the sword raining down and heard the thunderous sound. In this episode she's in the same room when he transforms and doesn't see or hear anything
This episode, perhaps unintentionally, inspired Stealth, directed by Rob Cohen. That movie talks of computer technologies piloting jets without loss of human lives either.
18:50 is the bit where He-Man acts like a cowboy. Looooooool

18:22 is the fun starts and the music He-Man comes on. Looooooooool

I am surprised that Skeletor hasn't taken over Eternia, with all those bungling idiots running the place.
Without the bungling idiots, we wouldn't hear Skeletor's great insults.
Seeing as Skeletor, a being of pure Evil, created Bite, I struggle to understand how Bite is made from Positive energy, as opposed to Negative energy
This episode is one of my many favorite ones. The other and I think probably my very favorite episode is the one where Skeletor turns people to stone, and brings stone to life.
I just watched that one and thought it was one of the best episodes lol
If Skeletor can spy on Adam why can't he see him change to He-Man?
BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL
I said that just last year and yea somebody said Greyskulls magic shields him from being seen transformed by Skeletor or anybody else
A nice way to explain obvious flaws by the writers

I've wondered that for ages.
Why watch three episodes of Transformers, when you can watch one episode of He-Man? :)
@ 5:38 oh look, its Kremzeek!
@19:20 Have fun playing with Kremzeek, Megat...I mean, have fun playing with Byte, Skeletor. :)
i was going to say this plot did remind me of a similar one on transformers. the 80's gen 1 transformers i mean
13:44 the death of Trac :(
a great episode, all that computer detail inside, and byte was funny :)
Just for fun, I try to talk like Skeletor. He gives new meaning to the term "Talk through your teeth".

I love the show He man
i like he-man he's cool

19:42 "I should never have let myself get so discouraged."
Computer virus hahaha This episode is prophetic lol
There were computer viruses in 1984.
If at first,you don't succeed,try,try,again.
That's what that bone head gets.
Seems this particular episode was made for 7 year olds.
Weren't they all?
