I have to say that I’m disappointed in Soo-won’s adviser’s decision making at the moment. Cause it it their fault the dragon warriors are “in danger” from other countries plus they are flaunting the dragons’ abilities in public, so why should they “stay at the castle for protection!? The Warriors and Yona wanted to keep hidden and not be visible, while helping the country secretly. The castle people are morons 🤦🏻♀️ XD

This manga has been ongoing for 11 years for anyone who doesn't know. It's still going strong and the character development is awesome. Such a shame it didn't get a second anime season. I highly recommend everyone to just read the manga. The art is really beautiful as well.

i watched the anime over 3 days and loved it sooo much , that i ended up reading the all 178 manga chapters over the next 5 days . I am now going through withdrawal and regret at all the time i've wasted :( thats why im listening to the op again , dammit! Anime and manga are like drugs. What I love about Yona is that she's not the weak girl that falls on her knees begging for help every time something happens, mind you I'm 150 chapters in the manga and she's one of the best female leads I've seen in anime

As of now, the official renewal of Yona Of The Dawn Season 2 is yet to arrive. However, it is suspected to be announced sometime soon. If the green flag comes in 2021, the release date of the sequel might fall sometime around early to mid 2022.

I've watched so much, but I've genuinely never seen anything like akatsuki no yona, from the plot to the characters to the powerful female lead that went through so much character growth and development, it's well paced, always leaves you wanting more, has amazing humor and is just genuinely so well written,I love it SO much.
Then you can like Akagami no Shirayuki Hime, just give it a try. A lot of people find Shirayuki and Yona relatable because they have a lot of similarities. I found this anime after I read the comments on one of the Akagami no Shirayuki Hime openings. If I remember right, one of them was saying "There are 2 red-haired princesses I really love." and one of the responses was saying "You mean Shirayuki and Yona?" Just to mention, Shirayuki is not a princess YET. :D Edit: I hope I didn't make a cringy English mistake up there. XD

Then you can like Akagami no Shirayuki Hime, just give it a try. A lot of people find Shirayuki and Yona relatable because they have a lot of similarities. I found this anime after I read the comments on one of the Akagami no Shirayuki Hime openings. If I remember right, one of them was saying "There are 2 red-haired princesses I really love." and one of the responses was saying "You mean Shirayuki and Yona?" Just to mention, Shirayuki is not a princess YET. :D

Literally I started watching Yona of the dawn because I needed to watch my eyes after Diabolik lovers.
If you want stronger female characters, watch Black Lagoon. The female Main characters is very badass.
