There could be many reasons bro, firstly we need to maintain batteries in a proper way, over heating could be the reason. Not sure what actually happened in that scenario but general tips to maintain a battery are as follows.
1. Charging limits should be maintained (don't overcharge)
2. Not to be charged in 5 ams socket company claims to use only 15 ams socket for longer battery life
3. Earthing to be checked properly in the socket that is used.
4. BMS voltage battery voltage to be checked in service centre every 1000 kms of 6 months.
5. A detailed video of this is in diwakar Rajan online yt channel. Pls check if possible

Battery they give repair warranty only,if any problem not replaced battery,only Repair the old one.
