Normally transit agencies don't during early system testing such as this. Once they get additional cars, I'm sure there may be an announcement on the first day of revenue testing/revenue service.
Can't wait to see theses cars in action. Gonna miss the Budds deeply as they we're apart of my childhood growing up.
I hope budds utv trains still gonna be service with new trains

At this rate Metro SubwayLink is gonna get CBTC before the DC Metro...
I do hope a set of the Budd cars gets preserved though
IDK when we're going to get CBTC on the DC Metro soon.
What becomes of the subway car fleet from the 1980s, the Budd Transit America cars?
Some will probably get scrapped, others will most likely get preserved
The subway needs to be extended all the way to White Marsh.
Ok cool now time to expand
Not me thinking we're in LA with their new cars. 😂😂😂
(Congrats and onward!)
Did they let passengers ride during the test as an early experience? And if so, when is the next service test so I can ride the new train?
