Samarpan means ‘offering’, ‘total surrender’. This is an initiative by the alumni of Sri Sathya Sai Institutions (Sri Sathya Sai Students) as an offering in their loving gratitude to Swami.
For Sai Students, Swami is their parent, guru, friend, philosopher, guide and God. All initiatives organized are with total surrender to Bhagawan, whose divine guidance has helped them achieve several small and big milestones. Hence, ‘total surrender’ to His Will.
Samarpan is a platform for students & staff, devotees and alumni to re-connect with their Lord. A platform where senior devotees share their personal experiences with the Lord.
By Bhagawan's immense Grace, the 55th edition of SAMARPAN coincides with the 'Avatar Declaration Day', i.e. 20th October
2019.
To enjoy His Divine Presence on this auspicious day, when our Beloved Swami declared His Avatarhood to all, we were fortunate to have with us our very own Sri Nimish Pandya and Smt. Kamala Pandya as Guest Speakers.
About the Speakers:
Sri Nimish Pandya , the All India President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, first met Bhagawan in the year 1977, and his family was introduced to the world of Sri Sathya Sai Baba through the Bal Vikas movement, when his youngest brother Dharmesh became a Bal Vikas student.
Over the years, both his younger brothers, Mayur & Dharmesh got an opportunity to study in Swami's University, and his father too was privileged to teach there as a Professor of Commercial Law.
Sri Nimish Pandya had a privilege of working closely with Sri Indulal Shah, and therafter with Sri V. Srinivasan over the years of his association with the Sai Organisation.
On the professional front, Sri Nimish Pandya did his graduation in law from the Bombay University and has been practicing as an advocate of Bombay High Court since 1980, with specialisation in the field of Civil Law, M&As and Contracts He also has been on the Board of several listed companies and has vast experience in the field of Corporate Law.
Smt. Kamala Pandya has been a devotee of Swami right from the age of 6, when she got her first interview along with her family in Prasanthi Nilayam.
Thereafter, at the age of 17, she became a Bal Vikas Guru and since then she has been closely associated with the Bal Vikas movement.
Currently, she is All India Mahila Coordinator for Bal Vikas and Mahila Vibhag activities, and also a Trustee of Smt. Easwaramma Women's Welfare Trust at Prasanthi Nilayam.
On the professional front, Smt. Kamala Pandya too is a practicing advocate of the Bombay High Court since last 25 years, specialising in Personal Laws and M&As She has a rare distinction of being a three times Gold Medalist while pursuing her education, one of them from the Divine Hands of Bhagawan.
Swami brought both Sri Nimish Pandya and Smt. Kamla Pandya together when Bhagawan conducted their marriage in June 1983 in Puttaparthi, afterwhich He blessed the Pandya family by visiting their home in Colaba, Mumbai.
