Fantastic buses Adam, we get a good few of them down here on the Marsh when we have the bus show in New Romney. Love the old RTs and the Route Masters. The bus rides are the best part. Riding to Dungeness on a 70 year old double decker is pure nostalgia…..keep up the good work Mark and Julie 🚎🚌🚦ding ding🛎
I LOVE the old buses. I love them in old movies... the man is always seperated from the woman when she quickly gets off the bus in back hahaha but there are some great movies with buses in them for just a short bit and the double deckers are utterly awesome. I have only seen one but it was an open top tour bus in New York City back in 1976. One of my mostest favorite old movies is "It Happened on 5th Avenue" 1947 and at the start of the movie it is a tour bus and the tour guide is telling them about the big mansions on the corner.... Now I am going to have to go watch it again hahaha I just love it so much lol. But those old black and whites are my favorite movies because actors didn't have FX to rely on they had to really act and show tallent, not like current day fluffs. This is amazing. 10:47 That bus reminds me of the Movie "Heart and Souls" with Robert Downey Jr, Charles Grodin, Alfre Woodard, Kyra Sedigwick and others... it was a great movie What did they use the wee steam engine tractors for? Other than to show here? LOL When my sisters husband left her lol she sold both of his antique steam engines to pay for the divorce hahaha He told her he didn't want nothing hahaha Then he came back wanting the truck hahaha well he got it back with sheep poop shoved in ever hole, crack and crevass on the body, even the door handles. She didn't put any in the cab hahaha He sent the other woman to come get the truck hahaha and the other woman left the truck and told him to come go it lol. Then a month after he told he he wanted nothing, she sold the engines and 2 weeks later he wanted them back lol when he told the judge the judge laughed at him and said... "You said you didn't want nothing! It is on the voice mail" Oh gosh I am babbling hahaha LOVE the history lesson, Love the buses. Do yall call them buses or coaches? We destory English here in the US hahaha
Some of those buses remind me of the old school buses I used to go on 🤣. There’s a bus museum in Lincoln if that’s your thing. The red/cream East Kent buses are the same colour scheme as the old East Yorkshire buses. Loving the traction engines too.
Something different to usual! But I hope you like it :) Many thanks to the Kofi supporters of the channel, it wouldn’t be a channel without you ❤😊
