abby's freak out at 6:00 is legendary
Dan spent most of the stream being buoyed by the misery of his companions. At one point, he let out an actual Waluigi "WAAAAAA-HAA-HAAAH!!" laugh.
Okay, I had to look this up at the end, but apparently the NG+ version of Quiet Man -- the one where there's an audio track so you can understand the story -- isn't in the goddamn game when it's released, but has been held back a week, which is why the East team goes nuts at the end. And not by like, 'oh the game had to ship,' not a hidden Kojima-esque secret 4-20 9-11 style, but they had a whole cutscene for it ready.
I kinda can't believe it either. What the hell. No story could be worth this.
The editing of this is so on point. Doing the Lord's work here.

I understand it was probably for legal purposes, but you cut the part where Big Bang Theory started syncing up with the game. Like, full dialogue sequences.
cooljammer00 I almost put it in but it took up so much more time in the video than everything else and I was trying to keep it as tight as I could manage. Plus, I didn't want to step on the toes of the upcoming Best Of too much, which will be entirely dedicated to The Quiet Man!

In a way I respect that they went full on and had no audio. Really sells the deaf angle. Course you could play any game with the sound off...
makes me have an idea.... playing through the thief gold and thief 2 the metal age as a "deaf thief" with the audio completely disabled.

The developers tried to be so deep with the "you'll understand on a second playthrough with sound" bullshit, but all they did was butcher an already bad game. Especially because for _some god damn reason_ they delayed NG+ and the sound-enabled playthrough...
