Angie - I definitely would love to see all of your products packed - skincare and makeup. I struggle with this all the time bc my products take up half my suitcase. I would love to see how you do it!
I just traveled and used sample sizes for most of my skincare. I wrapped one glass serum bottle in felt for protection. I wish all skincare companies made smaller sizes for travel.
In addition to my skin care, I bring a special microfiber washcloth and a zip lock bag. It doesn’t take up much room and is safer for my skin than the rough cloths in the hotels. Thanks for another great video Angie!
Hi Great tips ! What do you think of Plexaderm ? Would you use that on Vacation ? Of course you look so good you wouldn't need it but some of us do ! Lol
The only thing I’d add to Angie’ excellent list is an SPF for the lips. I always use SPF cream on my lips. I top up using Neutrogena lip balm SPF 30 and noticed recently there are brands with SPF 50 too. I started doing this in the summer of 2019 because I noticed a huge dark spot in the centre of my lower lip and darkening around the edges. Today the spot on the lower lip has disappeared and the darkening around the edges has gone too. Angie, perhaps a a topic for a video? Always grateful for the content you share with us. Have a beautiful day.
@@dtraveler3080 I'm highly sensitive to scents, but the R&R doesn't have one to me. And I really like it. It's all crazy to me! I don't understand the 'Olfactory System'. 😂🤣
I always check my bag too and book non-stop even if it costs more unless there is absolutely no choice. Nonstop will decrease handling and likelihood of misplacement or theft. Non-stop also saves time and fewer takeoffs/landings improves safety. I grew up in an airline family (dad was a pilot) and traveled extensively for business through my career. My bag has never been lost. It has been delayed so I do pack a carry on with “emergency” overnight things such as pajamas, cleanser, moisturizer, toothbrush, etc. Final tip, never ever buy “fancy” checked luggage to avoid attracting thieves (same for handbags, jewelry, logo clothes, etc.). I just got back from an international trip and would add: put the most treasured, expensive items in your carry on. I’m on day 4 of waiting for delayed luggage and am so happy I have all my core skincare items and didn’t have to buy new duplicates! 🤦♀️
This is why I always pack my toiletries in my carry on as well as at least one change of clothes. That way if my luggage is lost I'm not without what I need to get to the next day and then can pick up what I need if still necessary.
@@AngieHotandFlashy going to French pharmacies and buying pounds of glorious French skincare was worth this hassle. I just want my bags so I can start applying everything!!
Thanks for the heads up. I found a pack of five teeny tiny glass containers at the Dollar Tree in the Craft Dept. that I will use for 2 weeks of skincare application on my trip.
Decant, decant, decant! 😃I'm a passionate traveler who has always checked my bags but look for any way to pare down. I've actually measured the quantity of a product I use "per application" or "per week" in order to pack just the amount I need for the trip (with a little xtra, of course 😉). I can't stand not having the things I need, either... Which is why I DON'T check my bag. Trust me, few things will spoil a vacation like losing your luggage.

And they send it in plenty of time for you to login and reschedule or skip it. Also, their website and login process is great. And customer service is great. The only con is cost.
Love to hear travel tips. When possible, I decant my favorites into smaller travel size bottles or jars. Somethings can’t or shouldn’t be decanted of course. But when you can, it saves on buying minis, even of my go to products. And saves on weight. When I’m traveling frequently, I can leave somethings ready to go. If it’s a long time between trips, I’ll use up my decanted items when I get home to keep things fresh.
Oh this video came at the best time!! We’re going on our first trip in 3 years and I’ve been stressing over what skincare to take and what to leave behind!!!! Thank you for the point of taking your core products and not trying anything new…..this video was very helpful!

I refuse to check a bag, especially in this day and time, but I will say that minimizing and decanting can be done with the help of small containers from Amazon. Nothing leaks for me. I label each container, and I’m good. You just have to look around and find what will work for you. Thanks for another informative video!
Not sure what she means, but I agree. I don't check my bag. Losing your luggage, let alone in a country where they make you go back to the airport to retrieve it, is a good vacation spoiler.
They are having a terrible time this summer with getting flights for everyone and canceling hundreds of flights! Not enough people to fly the planes, and they overbook to 110% so sometimes people get booted from their flight. If you're traveling this summer definitely keep up on this! I'm traveling a full day ahead of time, just in case and staying in a hotel.
Yes. I’m glad you brought up checking luggage. I always check my luggage it is so much less stressful. You don’t have to worry about packing or carrying your luggage all over the airport.
We almost always do carry-on - even to Europe. I´ve switched to a lot of powder/solid items to minimize liquids. I also use the same products at home as you mentioned. Re: body sunscreen we just buy it where we go.

Then I dispensed some cleanser from the full-size bottle into the travel bottle. It works for me, saving some space. 😉
I grew up an airline brat and traveling standby, so I never check a bag. I have packed for a two week trip to Europe with just carry on. I am able to decant all my skincare into small bottles or jars and have plenty for the entire time. You can find body sunscreen at any sunny destination you are going to, no need to pack a giant bottle. Even if I did check a bag, I would never put my toiletries in my checked bag for pretty much the reason you stated about not using something new - because that is what you’d have to do if your bag was delayed or lost. That said, everyone should do what works best for them. Thanks Angie, as always for your content.
Any time I use up something from a small jar or bottle I save it when it is empty and put my travel supplies in them. I also use contact lense cases for things I need a really small amount of.
Great info, Angie! It's always a little stressful to know what you really need while you're away from home. I'm a new viewer and just love your approach to skincare. You look amazing! The last year I've noticed my skin changing quite a bit and it's been confusing to figure out what to try first. I'm looking forward to learning more and trying the products you've recommended. You've got a great roadmap!
I also love Australian Gold and have been using it for several years since Angie’s recommendation but the lighter shade is sold-out/out-of-stock everywhere 😢.
Here's an older video with my toiletry bag: ua-cam.com/video/FyRQ2y6E-HM/v-deo.html many of the products are different now but I'm still using the same toiletry bag.
Thanks for all your great advice, Angie. I just have to comment, though - if anyone’s going to France, buy your sunscreens (and lots of other great products) there! European sunscreens are much better as the EU has approved more advanced ingredients. E.g. La Roche Posay sunscreens in the EU have different ingredients than what is sold in the US. Plus, they are half the price (as are Avene and other French brands). Happy trails!
I travel for work 50% of the time. I have found small brown droppers for my serums and screwtop containers for moisturizers and sunscreen.. it works! Never check a bag
Oooo - I never check a bag whether 3 days or 3 weeks. I buy a large bottle of body lotion & sunscreen when I arrive at my destination. Much easier for me.
I really like your videos. For this I had hoped for the Carry on luggage advice. I often travel for business, 2 night out and quick in and out of the airports. Greetings from Denmark
I live in Greece. I hope you have a great time when you go! Thanks for the great tips about hats, staying in the shade wherever possible and suncreen, they're essential
Cape Cod is so beautiful this time of year. And I can't wait to hear about your trip to Greece! I agree. Take your tried and true skincare. It would be awful to be on vacation and have a reaction to a few sample skincare products. The Moonlight serum is great. Thank you for suggesting it. I've already finished a bottle. Great for the neck and hands. Everything you've suggested I use. Bathrooms on planes are gross. Thanks Angie, for all of your great travel necessities recommendations.💖💖
Contact lens cases are great for decanting for quick weekend getaways! I got a set with different color caps, you just jot a note in your phone what is in each color! 😊
Great video Angie. I'm 71 years old and I've never used tretinoin. I've been using a drunk elephant vitamin C serum and moisturizers and sunscreen. My question is do you think at this late age I will get much value out of tretinoin?
Good suggestions Angie! Especially don't pack new, untried products, and take small quantities of your tried and true products. Also, I'm going to remember not to wear my contacts on long flights where I might need to remove them. I always assume my checked bag(s) will be lost, and I carry 1 change of clothes, and as much of my cleanser etc. as I can get in my quart size carry on plastic bag.
CARRY-ON ONLY!!!! Easy in & out of airports and no worries about lost luggage! And vaca is so much simpler without lots of stuff to schlep! Just buy a big sunscreen when you get there :)
You have to try the Hero Force Shield Superlight Sunscreen! It is so weightless and contains skincare like green tea! We have the same taste in sunscreens and I know you would love it. It’s been a game changer for me. I got mine at Ulta!
Hello! I hope you had a great day! I had a very busy but fun filled day in my sewing room ironing more fabrics and now I get to hand quilt. Thank you for posting your video.
Good morning ❤️ Great suggestions for travel. Hubby roles his eyes at my travel skincare, but kindly doesn't comment..LOL. I agree with using products you know your skin won't react poorly too. Camping is a bit of a challenge: 1) love to sit by the campfire right upto bedtime. Usually we've already showered and cleaned my face. So I use micellar water to clean my face in the tent before applying my night skincare. 2) I wakeup to sunshine, hopefully. So I use the micellar water wash & put on sunscreen before going out of the tent. Then after breakfast, I wash & put on my daytime skincare. Now you know why Hubby rolls his eyes..LOL. Have a great day, Angie ❤️
I would love to know what you take on vacation in your makeup line. Thanks for this, I'm going on vacation soon and was going to look for your video on this from last year. You posted it just in time!!
I’m definitely a fan of checking a bag so you’re not limited to TSA restrictions but I’ve heard the temperature changes in the cargo area can be tough on actives. So there’s a couple of items, depending on price point, that I bring in my carry on out of caution.
Skincare products are tested for stability in heat and cold when they're being developed so there's no need to worry about them if you check your bags.
I am so happy for you going to Greece, went in 2017 - it was early August it was sooooooo hotttttt hubs passed out in Santorini, went to the hospital (June, July and August are way to hot for people with Asthma, heart conditions etc.), However, we had an amazing time (never rained not even once) in the evening (people usually have dinner late in the evening, next time we go, it will have to be in September. Wishing you a wonderful time. Thanks for the video.
Great video! I started with Agency a few months ago. It is so gentle I can use it on my neck about 3 to 4 times a week. My neck is so sensitive I have only been able to use retinAl a few times a week in the past. So this is huge for me. Fyi: tretinol at 0.1%, niacinamide, transexamic acid, and dexpanthenol.
Someone suggested to not take tretinoin especially if spending more time in sun during vacation. Since vacation is mostly just one week the break in the tretinoin wouldn’t be harmful to the skin routine.
This has always been a stressful topic for me. Even have nightmares about packing for trips! I have 2 personal trips coming up and was trying to be low maintenance with a carry-on but after seeing this, the ONLY way to go is to check a bag and stop overthinking! I will ALWAYS struggle with overpacking and would love some help with packing for a tropical vacation!! Thanks as always!!
I agree about check your luggage, I feel they have it backward - charge us for a carry on and let us check 1 bag for free ☺️ - any essentials we can pack in a “personal item bag” and stash under the seat
Thank you for a great travel video! I am prepping for a 2 week trip and loved the video! I have faithfully watched your videos and my skin has dramatically improved in last 2 years from following your advice. Safe travels
Ong Angie, this is a lot… I bring the essentials because again, on vacation I want to relax and not do too much… I also noted that the older I get, the bigger my cosmetic bag is…
Hi Angie. I’d love to go to Greece. Hope u have a wonderful time at both holiday destinations. I’m off on a mini trip to Toowoomba in 2 weeks so will take yr tips with me. Some great advice Ang. Sending you sunshine from Oz xx🥰🌏🌺🌞
Just got off a long haul flight and I agree with you on just preparing before and Then I try to leave my face alone. The water is not the best on the plane and I best my teeth with bottles water. If I do have to take makeup off it is the one time I use a wipe or some Bioderma micellar water. I bring eye drops and lip balm. Sometimes I pat some eye cream around my eyes too. That is it. The masking in some countries combined with heat DID ME IN. I got break outs and was so happy I had some of those clear zit patches. They take up almost no space and you can sleep with them on. Masking requirements are different everywhere so be prepared for your poor skin to be in a moist, hot environment. Ugh… (still worth it to travel 🧳)
Great tips Angie!! I am actually on vacation in New York City. I am also going to Greece next year! Can’t wait. Although I usually do check a bag, your tips were helpful!!💝🎉💝🎉💝🎉💝🎉💝🎉💝

Oh, you're coming to Greece!!!!! That's awesome!!!! Are you by any chance visiting Syros island? That's where I live! Have a great vacation Angie! 🏖️🌅⛱️🇬🇷
I do not bring any of my day or night skincare on vacation. I do have a small bottle of vitamin C powder that I add to my morning moisturizer, then I have my tinted sunscreen, and my face wash. Very minimal make up. I'm on vacation and I want to enjoy every seconded I can so the less time in the bathroom getting ready means more time outside enjoying my trip. Happy Vacation
Thank you for this video! I have been doing a lot of longer weekend trips lately and dragging around all my products makes my luggage that much heavier. I will definitely follow your advice.
I pare my skincare way down when I travel. I really loath dropper bottles in general, therefore traveling with them is just irksome to me. I take sunscreen (face, one that I know won’t interfere with my makeup which is generally a hybrid type, body sunscreen, 2 multipurpose serums, day/night(something with Vit C and one w/a retinol), usually inky list as I like the lightweight packaging, facial moisturizer, currently vanicream, body lotion, cleansing balm, cleanser, and a very hydrating eye cream as my eye area is particularly dry. The eye cream is travel size as it takes only a small amount per use. I usually go to Caribbean for 6 weeks yearly or don’t generally travel for less than 2 weeks and find I have no issues picking up where I left off before travel; even with the retin a I use which is at .1% strength. I am 56, post menopausal and have combo normal/dry skin but know not everyone is the same. This hasn’t caused me any issues when I return to regularly scheduled skincare maintenance😉
i flew from California to NYC a couple of years ago & thought I be super fresh by wearing a Cotex pad on a night flight thinking I would remove it when we got there & still be clean & fresh. Surprisingly, after going to the bathroom several times, when we arrived to NY, I had to go to Urgent Care because I got a urinary track infection, which I have never had before. But all the germs in that little airplane bathroom were attracted to my pad. Never again!!!
I didn't bring my skin care with me on a trip I'm currently on because it's mostly all glass bottles and I regret it. I did have to pick up a cleanser but I did have my moisturizer with me. I also wish I had a bigger stand up mirror that magnifies. I have a fairly good one but it's really hard to put makeup on without a good mirror. I didn't forget my sunscreen for my face or my body. I did leave my Agency at home. I did purchase the BK Beauty travel set and put my Angie Hot and Flashy brushes in there so I am set for makeup I just wish I had more skin care. I need another case for that since they are glass. Or put them in these little plastic spray bottles I got from Amazon. Anyways, it was 5 days. The great news is I packed my hat and big sunglasses which is good because it was blue sky and 90+° and one little spot I missed on my leg did get pink. Thank you for this helpful video!
Great travel trips Angie! I’m heading to Italy for a month in September plan to pack light. Since the likelihood of wayward luggage goes up on international flights, I do only carry-on. I would like to add that not all small containers are airtight. A week into my last trip abroad my foundation (It CC cream) turned into a hard lump in a silicone travel jar 😬. This time the whole tube is going regardless of its weight!
Ok, Angie - I don’t usually do this, but I decided to try the Agency products. I just signed up. One question I have is that if, after a decent trial period, I don’t find that it is helping me, is it difficult to cancel the subscription? I’m thinking 6 months would be a good test. I really don’t think you can get a good idea after only 30 days.
Angie, would you please say again what do you put on first? Sunscreen, moisturizer, & then make-up, or moisturizer, sunscreen, & then make-up? Please answer
Hey there! Thanks for the amazing content Angie!!! I have a question for you, when you did the BBL treatment under the eye area, did you notice a smoothness of wrinkles? How many treatments did you get? Thanks so much!!!

I use CeraVe pm both morning and night!
Great video Angie. I'm 71 years old and I've never used tretinoin. I've been using a drunk elephant vitamin C serum and moisturizers and sunscreen. My question is do you think at this late age I will get much value out of tretinoin?
Oh my gosh I’m going to Greece in 2 days! That’s where I’m from I hope you love it there let me know if you need anything 💕
Same same!
You have to try the Hero Force Shield Superlight Sunscreen! It is so weightless and contains skincare like green tea! We have the same taste in sunscreens and I know you would love it. It’s been a game changer for me. I got mine at Ulta!
I reviewed it in my sunscreen testing video in May!
How did I miss that! I will go watch now. Thank you!
Could you show us what clothing you are taking for your trip to Greece? 🙏
I'll do a packing vlog!
Great🤩
Hello! I hope you had a great day! I had a very busy but fun filled day in my sewing room ironing more fabrics and now I get to hand quilt. Thank you for posting your video.
Greetings from Greece; thanks for your wonderful videos!
As always, your videos are on point. My husband and I just booked a trip. It’s been so long I have totally forgotten how to pack!
Sounds like you have your routine down for camping! Have a great trip!! 💜
@@AngieHotandFlashy Thanks. Enjoy Greece. It's on my bucket list, but unlikely. Take great pictures ❤️
@@AngieHotandFlashy that to GREAT to know
Love this! I have been meaning to request this too, so perfect timing!!
Fantastic tips as usual, Angie. Thanks so much.🌹
Great video as always! Did you do something different with your hair color Angie?
Really love your makeup look today, Angie! Pared down and summer fresh😍😍
Thanks for sharing your experience! Poor hubs!!
Awesome!!
Yayy. So happy you’re coming to Greece. Hope to bump into you ❤️
Love your hair in this video!
Can you do a video on your itinerary for Greece?
Hi, Angie, I never go anywhere so I don’t have to worry about it!😊🥰
Check the bag! Totally agree because like Angie I have fav skincare and don’t want to mix it up while travelling.
Thank you for a great travel video! I am prepping for a 2 week trip and loved the video! I have faithfully watched your videos and my skin has dramatically improved in last 2 years from following your advice. Safe travels
Praying for a big timeless sale this summer!!!
Should be one coming up for the 4th of July!
Have a wonderful time on your trip!!
love your top you are wearing
I hope you do more travel vlogs! Just found your channel and love the vlog style/day in the life videos you've done
Great tips Angie!! I am actually on vacation in New York City. I am also going to Greece next year! Can’t wait. Although I usually do check a bag, your tips were helpful!!💝🎉💝🎉💝🎉💝🎉💝🎉💝
I am Greek, living in Houston TX. Greece, what an outstanding tourist destination! You will have a lot of fun! If you may need some friendly advice now or in the future about how to plan your trip in advance, which places to visit like gorgeous Greek islands, or parts of Athens, museums, Meteora, etc, let know. I'll be delighted to help... I have offered free advice to many Americans who traveled to Greece throughout the years, and they had a lot of fun, over there. DR. MEL GLAMOR, PHD, Houston TX
Have a blast on your vacations, Angie!
Perfect timing! I am packing to leave to Italy today for our 25th wedding anniversary! Thank you
Happy anniversary!! ❤️
Oh, you're coming to Greece!!!!!
That's awesome!!!!
Are you by any chance visiting Syros island? That's where I live!
Have a great vacation Angie! 🏖️🌅⛱️🇬🇷
Yes! I'm so excited to visit your beautiful country!! I don't think we'll be visiting Syros though 😞
@@AngieHotandFlashy Hopefully next time! 😊
Have a wonderful and safe vacay! Thx for another great vid!!😎👍🏻💕
Have fun at the Cape! Going to North Falmouth in early August- my happy place!😃
About to take a trip so this was a timely video! Thanks for the tips and enjoy your trips! ❤️
Thank you! You too!!
So exciting the trip to my father's homeland. May I ask which islands you are visiting?
I just saw hydro boost cleansing gel in a travel size tube at my local Walmart.
I’m hopeful that you will share your trips with us. I was in Cape Cod last October and it was wonderful.
i flew from California to NYC a couple of years ago & thought I be super fresh by wearing a Cotex pad on a night flight thinking I would remove it when we got there & still be clean & fresh. Surprisingly, after going to the bathroom several times, when we arrived to NY, I had to go to Urgent Care because I got a urinary track infection, which I have never had before. But all the germs in that little airplane bathroom were attracted to my pad. Never again!!!
Oh I also use a different retinoid on my neck! I love the medik8 crystal retinal !
Too late for me - leaving Hawaii and heading home today. The sunscreen you recommended was amazing and worked great.
Have a great weekend! Thanks for all your tips!
