I’m from Virginia Beach but thinking about moving to Richmond
It’s a calm, artsy, hipster-type vibe out there. If you’re into that, you’ll love it!

I’m surprised about the food. When I looked at google maps in Richmond there was a bunch of diverse restaurants
Hey! It definitely isn’t as diverse as the Deep South. I like to have a variety of options - especially spread across cultures. Where as Richmond was far and few between. But to each his/her own! You may like it lol
