Crowd was terrible, gave Brookes no heat, he was working for it...! at least the came around towards the end and really got into it after her comeback.

That inter-gender match was _awesome_. I'm really fed up with the current times where female wrestlers can hit men, but the other way around? Heaven forbid! And then you get matches like these: much respect for Laura! Not only does she sell, but she also made her win look believable (IMO anyway). I really enjoyed this!
That's why Lita was my favorite female wrestler she would kick the guys' assess.
It is pretty obvious that he rolled on purpose into a position that would allow her to "trap" him. And a second earlier he lifted her off the ground to let her make those weird spinning moves in the air. No surprise, really. Pretty much all intergender pro-wrestling videos are men doing most of the hard work to let women look stronger than they really are.

why women's champ, she beaten Brookes so she can be men's champion because we can clearly see how Defiant shot themselves in the foot (if not brains). Pro wrestling is not meant to be taken seriously, but this is not even funny. Inter-gender matches are cancer for pro wrestling, people want to see more of it only because it's a fetish that actually makes pro wrestling deep in their thoughts sexual. It's ok but if pro wrestling wants to be reborn it should think before doing this kind of thing to the business. I'll take it as personal as i can because this is a sensitive subject for my kind of people (unpopular opinion on something that keeps them sane in this weird life). Ah jesus, no one i asking for inter gender matches only those who find it sexual (i find it as my fetish actually, which is why i can't watch what i really love which is Pro Wrestling). It's a very complicated issue for me, so complicated that i just stop watching the product of those who choose to make it sexual (no matter how good the performance is, i just find it sexual, my personal problem but not only person in the world who has this problem). Also tons of reasons why Pro wrestling should keep it simple instead of just using these shock factor matches. They're just taking a break this summer and will be back in a later date.
They started back up last year in December with weekly programming again after several months off and I sincerely hope it won't be that long of a layoff this year.

@@jasonjones8038 Defiant always takes time off to let some of the talent make contract obligations with other (mostly larger and better funded) promotions so they can be allowed back later. I'm not sure they could even afford to run year-round but I'm fairly certain they have a working relationship with Dragon Gate, Progress and a few other European and worldwide indie promotions.

Listening to the color commentary banter of a micro sized indie promotion like this makes me realize how crap the WWE commentary is. It is so much easier to sound like a sane human trading insults with another sane human while commentating on a wrestling match when you don't have an insane septuagenarian screaming into your ear.

keep the inter-gender matches so we could see what clowns are you. Pro wrestling has no place for that. Unpopular opinion of course, but i will never support female wrestlers vs male wrestlers. First of all it looks ridiculous, second it doesn't help anyone in the ring (people who say it looks believable are just wankers who loves this kind of sh*t as their fetish) third yeah it makes pro wrestling sexual and it should stray away as far as possible from sexual. Disappointing to see so many independent shows having inter gender matches... This stuff is not for everyone (just like pro wrestling), if it gets into every pro wrestling show then god damn thanks for killing what i love. I'll come myself to revive the pro wrestling culture, because what is this is parody nothing more nothing less.
