WC3 attack upgrades increase the amount of dice for the units' attacks by 1. So: Raiders have 22 damage, and 1 dice with 5 sides = 23-27 damage. Upgrading it gives it 2 dice with 5 sides each, ie 24-32 damage, then 25-37, then 26-42 when fully upgraded
I just created an additional batch of backups of my maps just now, (in the cloud this time) thanks to the letter accompanying this map. If my house was broken into, and laptop stolen, I could have kissed my source maps goodbye too. Poor guy, losing all unprotected versions at once... Thankfully I can edit most protected maps (my own included), but it is more work for sure.
52:35 Great example of why you should never "protect" your maps. Really silly to do in a game like Wc3. Make your own code inaccessible to yourself and others who would learn from it, so that some russians dont make bad ripoffs of your soon-to-be-forgotten map in a 15 year old game? I dont get it
I think with that level with the Bloodmage you need some stun. Orc warlock is must have, because there is no one else that can stun there, I think. Also, probably to be able to revive heroes on that level with the Archimond, you need to possess the altar. Would probably allow you to get heroes from previous levels or to get a fresh Horde hero. P.S. Saves don't work there? OverClocked made one.
I like this map's concept but obviously the mapmaking is flawed bad. The game just blocks when its game over, and you have to start from the beginning when you fail. A system of lives would have been very much appreciated here i think. And ofc there is this freezed "level "1 timer, and these non-triggering camera moves by moments.

That's really interesting, thanks.
"Apparently Ember's never played melee before..." If it's not a crypt fiend or a frost wyrm he doesn't quite know what to do with it >:O

*fighting the fire elemental boss* "Do we need to moe him up?" What an appropriate typo.

More of this!!
This map is awesome. It'd be fun if you revisited it with a tryhard team.

Yeah having the option to restart the level or some kind of checkpoint system would be nice.
Yes, it's like a chess puzzle when you have to checkmate a king with a limited amount of pieces in a few turns. Just with Warcraft :-D
or at the least list out all the units you are going to be facing. If it says 'kill shadow hunter' people are going to all go for anti-hero units.
Ignorance is a virtue.
If you picked flamestrike you would have passed that level
Can three players play this ??
it says on the map page its recommended for 7 at least
